Omsk Cadet Military Corps
What can be built in one year?
It turns out that in one year you can build a magnificent educational institution with a modern content.
In 2020, after examining the historical building of the Omsk military cadet corps, it was established that it was impossible to continue operating the building without a threat to the life and health of the inmates.
In this building, military schools, changing their names, but not their essence, have been continuously since 1826, and story of the Omsk cadet military corps itself dates back to 1813, when the Cossack Army School was formed. The building was repeatedly completed, buildings were added to it.
Currently, the historical building of the Omsk military cadet corps, at the address Omsk st. Lenina, 26, is an architectural monument of federal significance.
The cadets spent the academic year 2020–2021 on a visit. Cadets of the 9th and 11th grades were trained in Sevastopol at the Sevastopol Presidential Cadet School. The cadets of the 7th, 8th, 10th grades were trained at the Kemerovo Presidential Cadet School.
While the cadets were comprehending science, work was in full swing around the clock in the vacant lot near Victory Park in Omsk. The builders had to build new buildings of the Omsk military cadet corps from scratch in less than a year and equip them.
The task was completed.
On September 1, 2021, the cadets were greeted at a new location.
What the new Omsk military cadet corps looks like can be seen in a video posted by the Military Construction Complex of the Russian Ministry of Defense on YouTube.
