A new command post of the coastal anti-ship complex RK-360MTS "Neptune" on the Tatra chassis was shown in Ukraine, the first photos appeared in the Ukrainian press.
The Ukrainian press published the first photo of the new command post of the Neptune complex, before that photos of the new launcher, transport-loading and transport vehicles on Czech chassis were published. Before that, the complex could be seen, but on the basis of the Ukrainian "KrAZ".
The completely updated anti-ship complex RK-360MTS "Neptune" can be seen at the "grand" military parade in honor of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, which will be held on August 24 in Kiev.
Initially, the Neptune complex was developed on the basis of the Ukrainian KrAZ truck, but during the tests the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine revealed many shortcomings, after which it was decided to replace the chassis with a more suitable one. As a result, Kiev settled on the variant with the Czech Tatra.
The first full-time complex "Neptune" should be received by the Ukrainian Navy in 2022. The division will include 19 pieces of equipment: the RCP-360 mobile command post and six USPU-360 launchers each, TZM-360 transport and loading vehicles and TM-360 transport vehicles.
