Polish "expert" in the US press: Russia is preparing exercises to practice the war with Poland and the Baltic states
The American press published an article by Janusz Bugayski, a Pole who at one time fled from the Polish People's Republic to the United States, proclaiming himself a dissident. Bugaysky is one of the "experts" who have been predicting Russia "disintegration as a result of popular revolutions" for several years and at the same time actively reflecting on the fact that no disintegration is taking place.
Bugaysky writes on the pages of the Washington Examiner that he, like many Poles, is concerned about Russia's preparing for the West 2021 exercise. According to him, during these exercises, Russia plans to work out the conduct of the war with the Baltic countries and Poland.
Janusz Bugaysky:
According to the "expert", in this regard, it is worth talking about the Polish-Russian confrontation, which fits into the confrontation not even of two countries, but of two concepts. Bugaysky sees the Russian concept "in the complete subordination of its neighbors", and the Polish one - "in democracy and voluntary confederation." He calls NATO and the European Union such a "voluntary confederation". At the same time, the Polish-American author does not comment on the “voluntary” nature of joining NATO, for example, Montenegro, where only 38% of the population supported joining (based on the survey). But no one asked the opinions of the citizens of this country. Does not comment on the Bugai "voluntary" nature of NATO on the example of France, where, according to the latest poll, 56% of citizens believe that the country should leave the North Atlantic military bloc.
At the same time, Bugaysky writes that "Poland is trying to stabilize its eastern borders, trying to bring democracy to its eastern neighbors, helping them to achieve success in European and Euro-Atlantic integration." According to the Polish "dissident", who, after the "victory of democracy" in Poland, for some reason does not return to his homeland from the United States to his homeland, sooner or later in Russia "they will see a prosperous Ukraine and understand which way to go." Against this background, he appeals to US President Joe Biden with a request "to remain the leader of the democratic world" and "not to abandon Poland against the backdrop of the growing Russian military threat."
We will remind that earlier it became known about Washington's readiness to impose certain sanctions against Warsaw related to the law on television and radio broadcasting. The Polish authorities want to gain control over foreign broadcasters in the country, including American broadcasters. To "cool" the ardor of Warsaw, the United States announced the possible transfer of part of the American military contingent from Poland to Romania.
