In China, at the Tsingtongxia tactical training ground, joint training of fighter crews of the Russian Aerospace Forces and the PLA Air Force took place in preparation for the joint exercises SIBU / Interaction-2021. This was reported by the press service of the Eastern Military District.

The Russian side was represented by Su-30SM multipurpose fighters from aviation Air Defense Forces, deployed to China at the beginning of the month. From the PLA Air Force, the J-11 (Chinese copy of the Su-27) and J-7 (MiG-21) fighters took part in the training. The fighters of the two countries operated as part of one squadron, practicing interaction during operations in the air and striking ground targets.

The Chinese side is represented by units of the Ground Forces and the PLA Air Force. In total, more than 13 thousand servicemen and about 400 pieces of equipment are involved in the exercises.
