Joint training of fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces and the PLA Air Force took place in China

In China, at the Tsingtongxia tactical training ground, joint training of fighter crews of the Russian Aerospace Forces and the PLA Air Force took place in preparation for the joint exercises SIBU / Interaction-2021. This was reported by the press service of the Eastern Military District.
The Russian side was represented by Su-30SM multipurpose fighters from aviation Air Defense Forces, deployed to China at the beginning of the month. From the PLA Air Force, the J-11 (Chinese copy of the Su-27) and J-7 (MiG-21) fighters took part in the training. The fighters of the two countries operated as part of one squadron, practicing interaction during operations in the air and striking ground targets.

Strategic exercises "SIBU / Interaction-2021" will be held at the Qingtongxia training ground of the PLA Defense Ministry from August 9 to 13. From the Russian side, fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces from the Air Defense Forces, motorized riflemen and a special forces unit will take part in them. The Chinese side is represented by units of the Ground Forces and the PLA Air Force. In total, more than 13 thousand servicemen and about 400 pieces of equipment are involved in the exercises.
