German media: Germany's non-intervention in military conflicts leads to an influx of migrants to Europe
Since the beginning of this century, the FRG has been demonstrating a powerless foreign policy, which has already become the usual norm. Germany's non-intervention in military conflicts that periodically flare up outside its borders leads to an influx of migrants to Europe, and primarily to the Federal Republic of Germany.
This opinion is expressed by the German edition Die Welt.
The FRG media believes that the Germans are not trying to contribute to the resolution of conflicts, leaving this occupation to other countries. As a result, Germany has to solve the problem of refugees who arrive in tens and hundreds of thousands from Libya, Syria and Iraq, and recently their flow from Afghanistan has increased, which is associated with the withdrawal of NATO troops from this country.
And although the problem of migrants is extremely acute for Germany, it does not make efforts to achieve its resolution “at distant approaches”. Today, the publication considers the words of the former German Minister of Defense, uttered by him in 2004, to be prophetic. He said that Germany's security is also ensured in Afghanistan.
- says Die Welt.
Earlier, the German newspaper Bild reported that on July 31 in Qatar, Germany held secret negotiations with representatives of the Taliban terrorist movement banned in the Russian Federation. A number of issues were discussed at it, including the security of representatives of German humanitarian organizations who remained in Afghanistan, as well as Afghans who collaborated with the army and police of the FRG.
