The Sviyaga transport dock, owned by the GUGI, has been prepared for the transportation of the first Soviet nuclear submarine K-3 Leninsky Komsomol to Kronstadt. The work was carried out at the Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center. This was reported by the press service of the USC.

The ships of the TsSR "Zvezdochka" prepared a dock for the installation of the nuclear submarine "Leninsky Komsomol". It is emphasized that the preparation of the dock for receiving the K-3 was carried out in a three-shift mode, seven days a week. On July 31, 2021, Sviyaga began the transition from Severodvinsk to Snezhnogorsk to the Nerpa shipyard, where the submarine is being prepared for transportation. It is planned that the transition from the Zvezdochka shipyard to the Nerpa shipyard Sviyage will take about 4 days.

The first Soviet nuclear submarine will be installed at the Nerpa shipyard in the transport dock, after which it will go to St. Petersburg via the White Sea-Baltic Canal. The complete transition to Kronstadt is planned to be completed in 10-14 days, while the administration of the channel has already announced that Sviyaga will be skipped without a queue.

As previously reported, the Leninsky Komsomol nuclear submarine will be delivered to Kronstadt, where it will be converted into a museum with the restoration of the internal space, after which it will be opened for tourists. The submarine is planned to be installed on metal supports under a glass cover.

Yes, and the locks of the White Sea Canal would be nice to expand and lengthen) there would be a good transport artery not only for civil and tourist needs, but also for the quick transfer of naval combat units from one fleet to another, if necessary)

ZEK's are over, it won't work. You know that 100500 miles from the Gulag died at the construction site of the White Sea-Baltic Canal. , but you can’t work. "Zarathustra and the Geneva Convention does not order." This is banter and sarcasm if that.

A good deed was organized. As on the monument to Kazarsokm and the crew of the brig "Mercury" in Sevastopol, it is written "For posterity as an example", so on this monument-museum of the nuclear submarine "Leninsky Komsomol" something soulful should be inscribed. Maybe: "The Power that Kept the Peace".

So that's why they built the Sviyaga! By the way, so many boats for repairs can be dragged along inland waterways.

And how boats were ferried from Sormovo to the Baltic and further. I think you know.

If I lived on the banks of the White Sea-Baltic Canal, I would have photographed K-3 Lenin Komsomol. This is the last nuclear submarine passing through the canal. soldier

I think there will be someone to take a picture, but why the last one? I hope Sormovo will return to the construction of nuclear submarines, especially since there is so much talk about small displacement SSNS.

Yes, in principle, it is necessary to revive Krasnoe Sormovo with a nuclear submarine so that Severodvinsk is not loaded. Sviyaga is already there.

It's nice to read such news. This is a monument to all those great people who created these titanic machines for the sake of their great country, and paradoxically for the sake of a new world in which there will be no wars. And even though the history of our country has gone along a crooked path, but nevertheless it is a feat. And we will live and work further for the sake of a happy future and honor their deeds embodied in metal.

Dear unknown author! Our Severodvinsk news agency "BelomorKanal" today at 10:11 am. also gave very interesting information: "In parallel with the work on the TPD" Sviyaga "in the Snezhnogorsk branch of the" TsS "Zvezdochka" shipyard "Nerpa", work was carried out to prepare the ship itself. for loading on the TPD “Sviyaga.” All these works are performed by the CS “Zvezdochka” at its own expense.
The preparation of the TPD "Sviyaga" for the intake of "K-3" was carried out in a three-shift mode, seven days a week. For the manufacture of the keel track, side stops and other complex structures, Zvezdochka shipbuilders used more than 75 tons of metal and 62 cubic meters of sawn timber. Also, work was carried out to prepare the material part of the dock itself for a difficult transition.
It is stated that measures to ensure the transportation of the Leninsky Komsomol nuclear submarine to Kronstadt are of the highest priority. All stages of this project are controlled by the general director of the USC Alexei Rakhmanov, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the command of the Russian Navy ...
Not only did my dear "Zvezdochka" waste all the deadlines for the entire state defense order, along with all its branches, it is not clear why people were hired to work on Saturday and Sunday, including in the evening and at night, for work not included in the state defense order and spent tons of metal and cubic meters of lumber, and all this disgrace is covered by Rakhmanov himself, together with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the command of the Russian Navy ... Your affairs are wonderful, Russia! ... it is the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, to the list of unscrupulous suppliers for disrupting the deadlines for the state defense order ... It's like a mystery why large hydrographic boats pr. 22370G KAMPO does not assemble on the spot, but takes them by road to Murmansk and assembles them on the site of the killed bankrupt plant ... Although the dimensions and the draft allows the boats to come to the White Sea, and by the White and Barents Sea to reach the port of registration, grinding and running in all machines and mechanisms, boats, and equipment. tralflot1832 (Andrey S.) could not solve this riddle in any way ...
Apparently. someone on KAMO just a little lacks experience in the regions of the Far North for a preferential pension, and to Murmansk they will ride on a business trip - this is the most ...

Maybe they asked for a berth lease in Severodvinsk for the assembly of the boat 22370? I don't think of another.

Have they prepared a place for it in Kronstatt? They were going to put it in the Petrovsky dock, but no preparatory work is being carried out there.

tralflot1832 (Andrey S.), dear, KAMPO writes on the website that they only need a crane to assemble boats. Well, if there is no free space on their territory, you can find in Rybinsk or Yaroslavl where the most different boats are made for the RF Ministry of Defense. There, in contrast to Petrozavodsk and Murmansk, it is not necessary for the "northern" people to pay at assembly, the boat is cheaper ... In Severodvinsk and the NSR, and "Zvezdochka" sends one steamer after another to the seas for testing, military exercises are carried out regularly, therefore permits for work in the port, faces of 3-4 months will do, the specifics of the city ...
