"The appointment is supported by Zelensky": The first female commander appeared in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
In Ukraine, massive reshuffles in power structures continue. Earlier, President Zelensky, as they write in Ukraine itself, carried out "personnel cleansing" in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Security Service of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the General Prosecutor's Office. In particular, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, the commander of the Airborne Forces, the commander of the Joint Forces Operation (JF) and other representatives of the generals were removed from their posts. In this regard, it was suggested that the president is afraid of the organization by the high command of a coup in the country.
Today it became known about the new appointment in the structures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For the first time, a woman has been appointed to the post of commander. We are talking about Tatiana Ostashchenko, who will command the medical forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The appointment was made by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Taran. According to Taran, the appointment of Tatiana Ostashchenko was "unconditionally supported by the commander-in-chief - President Vladimir Zelensky."
