The Ukrainian military doubted the quality of their artillery ammunition

29

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine ordered this month to test two types of shells at once - 100-mm high-explosive fragmentation projectiles of increased power UOF-12 for the MT-12 anti-tank gun and 152-mm high-explosive fragmentation projectile OF-29 for towed guns 2A36 "Hyacinth-B "And ACS 2S5. At the same time, the tender documentation does not indicate the ammunition from which batch or from which manufacturer should be checked, as well as what exactly it was caused, because this year, according to public information, the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not purchase such shells.

Information about the tender for testing is posted on the Ukrainian public procurement portal ProZorro.

It can be concluded that the Ukrainian military doubted the quality of their artillery ammunition. It should be noted that both of these types of shells have repeatedly appeared in the publications of the Ukrainian media in recent years.

In 2020, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine purchased from the Czech company Czech Defense Systems as a batch of five thousand, so to speak, "repaired" UOF-12 shells, which were first "tested by force" in May this year. In turn, 152-mm OF-29s were purchased from the private Ukrainian company Rubin-2017. At the same time, the last batch, which was supposed to be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in February, was recognized by the military acceptance as substandard and returned to the supplier.

In fact, it has long been known where the Ukrainian military uses their ammunition. Despite Kiev's false statements about its commitment to peace, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue shelling not only the positions of the People's Militia of the Donetsk and Lugansk Republics, but the civilian infrastructure of cities and towns in Donbass.

What kind of doubt is there? It is a crime. Murder is the intentional infliction of death on another person.

I think this is not a matter of doubts (the MO wanted them to spit on the quality of the shells, the Hammer doesn't bother them too much) and everything is much more prosaic - a great way, under a plausible pretext, to get a "kickback" under contracts that won't even be fulfilled. ...

Something is plaguing me with doubts: were the shells in production, or were they stolen from the warehouse, painted ... and back to the warehouse?

This ammo is fine. There were only problems with the Hammer mortar. The Hammer issue was fixed this year.

"Petriot" you are not Russian. Can you read? How is everything all right? Well, if they explode in a warehouse or in a barrel, then yes, everything is in order. And if they do not explode and send the Banderlokhs to the "holy" Bandera in hell, then not everything is in order.

    Curious...
Just the other day I read an article in a specialized telegram channel.

President of the State Holding Company "Artem" Vladimir Zimin spoke about the systemic problems of the ammunition industry July 28, 2021 The problem with the lack of own production of a number of important components for shells and cartridges significantly complicates the manufacture of new ammunition for artillery and small arms of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Vladimir Zimin, the president of the company, the head of the board of the Artem State Holding Company (part of the Ukroboronprom Group of Companies), spoke about certain "bottlenecks" in the Ukrainian ammunition industry. According to him, one of the biggest problems in establishing its own closed and full cycle of ammunition manufacturing in Ukraine is the lack of production of special chemicals, in particular explosives - RDX, okfol and gunpowders.

In this connection, domestic enterprises are forced to import these substances at "not very favorable prices" and have many difficulties and additional costs associated with the transportation of these dangerous substances. “We also do not have production of pyroxylin powder and poorly developed production of primers for small arms cartridges.

In addition, there is still an unresolved problem with the production of liners. All this makes the process of making new shells for artillery a rather difficult task and can lead to acute problems with production and at the new cartridge plant, which is planned to be built in Ukraine.

As the head of the Artem State Holding Company noted, several Ukrainian enterprises, such as the Pavlograd Chemical Plant (NPO Pavlograd Chemical Plant), are working to resolve these issues (to master the production of special chemicals). In turn, the production of capsules of the "Boxer" type can be deployed at the Shostka state-owned plant "Impulse", and this must be done as quickly as possible. "The production of pyroxylinic propellants and capsules of the Boxer type is an important issue of national security that should be addressed today," said the president of Artyom.

He also noted that in order to successfully resolve all these complex issues, it is necessary to create a certain cooperation with the participation of those enterprises of the Ukrainian defense industry that have a certain potential in such production.

How long can you give half-information? The outskirts have not yet learned how to make not only shells, but also cartridges ... But there they know how to steal money ... 152mm shells turned over in the air and had an intricate flight path that did not correspond to the tables ... Aimed fire with such shells cannot be conducted with all the consequences , and this is not counting the threat to guns and shooting, but these are not a pity ...
This is what they write in their media in Ukrainian:

What's wrong? They collected the fragments, welded it over again, stuffed it with anything - and go ahead smile
By the way, at shooting ranges you can collect, clean, fill a lot of practical things - and also into battle. laughing

Unexploded shells can also be found at landfills. Usually they are blown up on the spot. But Ukrainians, apparently, are repaired, tinted and put into business. Maybe the second time it will explode?

Czechs had these Soviet shells lying around in warehouses for decades. Then they shaved them off the Sumerians cheaply. They are simply "rotten".

Could it be these shells that were in the warehouse where the "shpien" was detained? We got ahead of ourselves in time. Now, if it explodes, all claims are against the shpien.

Here are the explanations about the Russian spy who was collecting information about the artillery depots in Cherkassy. It is necessary to write off the substandard, but it is easier to burn it. Then Petrov and Boshirov will be to blame))))

In the case of the Czechs, some of the shells exploded during the fire, some were scattered. These scattered ones were collected, repaired and sold to Ukrainians. Just think, the sleeves are a little crumpled and the caps are not all found.

And this is in the News section ...
there is news - Tender. But after his conclusions (without much confirmation, the author just thought so)
It can be concluded that the Ukrainian military doubted the quality of their artillery ammunition.

    voila .. headline news.
The Ukrainian military doubted the quality of their artillery ammunition

what a shame for VO with such "news" writers ...
They are not just sucking any news from the finger - they just invent it.

There is a program for acceptance tests. Ammunition will be shot as part of combat training. In case of any deviations from the technical conditions, they will be returned to the supplier, according to the contract.
    Standard check of purchased ammo.

the inspection by the end of 2021 is carried out by the State Research Institute of Chemical Products, receiving 6 different shells every month.
There is also a hull check for 4 thousand hryvnyas.
In fact, the necessary checks - all these "repaired" and purchased around the world ammunition must be checked. Within the framework of the contract. So that they can be returned, according to the contract.
To the author, show the Internet, please .. In it you can not only compose .. but also just report the news.
It is an honor and a responsibility to prepare and deliver the news, not a source of profit.

This problem with weaving (MT-12) was still under the Union. When firing with a "feller", the sleeve wedges in the chamber. THOSE. in modern realities, they increased the power of the charge, and the sleeve is the same - the result is the same. The sleeve should wedge ...
