Crimeans "explained" the position of the IOC on the prohibition of Internet broadcasts of the Olympics on the peninsula

148

Residents of Crimea wondered why there are problems associated with the broadcast of the Olympic Games from Tokyo to the peninsula. The questions were addressed primarily to the leadership of Channel One. We are talking about the problems with Internet broadcasts that Russian channels receive from the direct official broadcaster, directly connected with the International Olympic Committee.

Konstantin Ernst, CEO of Channel One, commented on the situation. According to him, problems with broadcasts arise due to the fact that the IOC is responsible for blocking special broadcasts from the 2020 Olympics (2021) in "certain territories." In particular, Olympic Broadcasting Services geo-blocks special broadcasts on the Internet for the Crimean Peninsula.

At the same time, it was noted that Russian channels have the opportunity to broadcast the Games from Tokyo to the entire territory of Russia, including Crimea, in a television (not Internet) format, as well as in the form of so-called on-air broadcasts on their websites.

Thus, on the part of the copyright holder on the broadcast of the situation reaches the point of absurdity. Crimeans are trying to restrict access to sports competitions, which were originally conceived under the slogan "Oh sport, you are the world!" and were called to unite peoples and continents. Also, the IOC is actually violating its own "updated" Olympic motto, which recently sounds like this: "Faster, higher, stronger - together!" It turns out that not together ...

the French baron is famous for the fact that at the end of his years he actively collaborated with the Hitler regime. In particular, during the Winter and Summer Olympics of 1936, which were accompanied by terrible manifestations of racism, xenophobia and allowed the Nazi ideology to be promoted throughout the world.

in the pre-war IOC, there were a lot of people who sympathized with Hitler and his ideas. And not only in the IOC, but also among athletes. Nazi salute performed by representatives of different countries was a frequent occurrence during Olympic ceremonies long before the 1936 Olympics. This circumstance allowed Soviet propaganda to call the pre-war Olympic movement not only bourgeois, but also fascist.

Coubertin with all his sports ideas found himself on the other, Hitler's, side of the barricades. In the constructive mood of the Germans, the baron was convinced by Hitler's readiness to finance many of Coubertin's ideas.

If there were no flag, he would have stormed all the same and would have laid down his life for it, knowing who is behind it and the party would have given the banner of victory in any case, but what can this EP? The anthem and the flag are an inalienable attribute of any country that respects itself, performing under a white rag is humiliation and surrender, so there is no need to shield "our" enterprising athletes who are not ready to suffer for their country, let alone sacrifice their lives.

From what you call me, nothing will change. There is no need to prohibit athletes, they may well go there as private individuals, which, in principle, has now happened.

We went there as part of the Russian Olympic Committee, and not as individuals, and many write that our athletes went there as if as individuals.

And the state had to say unequivocally that since its attributes are not there, then as the country of Russia will not be there, with the refusal of funding. Sooner or later, this will have to be done, no one will return anything to us just like that.

Now at this point in time it is no longer so important what the state should have done, now the Olympic Games have begun and our athletes have gone there and we need to support them and root for them, but many turn out to turn away from their citizens, and they are all citizens of the Russian Federation and it does not matter what they perform without a flag and anthem, they are citizens of the Russian Federation, which means we must support them, but many do not understand this.

I am sincerely worried about them and am sick of them, but the Olympiad is a political event and we as a state, to put it mildly, were bent over, I can’t pretend that nothing happened. As long as there is such a policy that we do not resist, we will continue to perform under the white flag.

So what's the problem then? And the problem is that whole federations, athletics, and even there, and those who are beyond suspicion and have proven their purity are allowed to compete. It's just that someone in a high position decided to show that he is ahead of the rest of the world, After all, there is nothing more to be proud of except for large-scale events.

As a country we were humiliated, but we pretended that everything was fine. There is an example of the 80 Olympics, when the West boycotted it, many athletes came there, despite the ban, but there was no state there.

If it was privatized in order to humiliate the participants and infringe on the rights of the teams and the countries that delegated them, then why is it necessary?
Let Greece hold the summer games according to the same rules. Winter - can be defined between countries. The very composition of the IOC is an anachronism. Agree, if countries such as China, Russia and some others stop taking part in the Games, the games will turn into a planned farce.

After all, everyone perfectly understands whose athletes they are, where they came from and for what money they came to the Olympics, and they fight not only for themselves but for their relatives, friends, coaches, team, etc. and standing there on the podium for the award, obviously they want to hear not the music of Tchaikovsky and not the flag of the Russian Olympic Committee, but our flag and anthem but sanctions .... is there their fault here? no. And all this reasoning reaches the point of absurdity, when from Russian athletes who every year bring glory and victory to the country, at various international competitions they make almost traitors to the Motherland ... and when the sanctions are lifted, like you, you immediately recognize them as your own, So it turns out that, at the behest of some officials and ill-wishers, they themselves are drowning their athletes in the mud, for a place to support .... it's sad.

You probably do not understand at all what this is about wink Athletes compete internationally. Athletes from Russia compete and defeat the world elite. The politicization of the Olympics is created by you and others like you. Watch, enjoy and exercise for yourself. Good luck!

You probably do not understand at all what this is about

Athletes performing under the flag of the Olympic Committee, listening at the victory of Tchaikovsky, looking at figs understand whose flag turns out to be in favor of Russia? You can also say that they are crying because they did not hear their native anthem and did not see the Russian banner ...
Or maybe crocodile tears are already enough ...

And what, some of the athletes from the Motherland refused? All the same, Western information technology is very cool! After all, they made it so that all the anger over the anthem / flag fell on the athletes, and not on the sports officials, who just could not do anything in defense of both athletes and national symbols.

How convenient it is to blame everything on officials. And he himself wants to get an apartment, a car, a cash bonus from the same officials. Why say no yourself!)
We came to the beginning of the conversation, athletes, like many officials, like Ernst (hello to him with explanations) deeply give a shit to the Motherland, the main thing is grandmothers (not old women, I think this is understandable))
Make someone from this chain a saint? I think this is wrong.
Sori, I'll add a little. Here is a direct and accurate answer to your question.

And what in your afterword answers my question? The fact that someone here made an assumption and that athletes will change their citizenship? Offhand - only Kuzmina (like) a biathlete who changed. I don’t believe it. And why shouldn't the officials be made extreme? After all, the whole gimmick with doping went from the 15-16th year like. Has anything been done to protect our athletes? No! They sat in a puddle with doping, could not justify themselves, even admitted (!) The fact of using prohibited substances. And in the end, as the quintessence of everything, they agreed to all these humiliating conditions at this Olympiad. So if at the very top they give the go-ahead, why should the Olympians, who have been professionally involved in sports from an early age, with the aim of becoming the best in their sport, refuse to participate?

There were many different gossips around them, but they did not pay attention and all their lives they just worked patiently. After Tamara and Irina Press refused to participate in the Olympics - and it was in the one at which gender verification was introduced - the rumor about brothers with this surname, which many thought were girls, began to spread. As you know, some Olympic doctor decided that they had sex reassignment surgery when the girls were still young.
And now they openly put men in women’s teams, and this is all legal.

You do not understand, just on TV, they show everything.
The IOC has technically imposed restrictions on its net.
This is such a trick about Crimea.
For example, the same ZOOM does not work in Crimea.
Of course, it's easy to get around, they also understand this, but they still pretend to be blocking.

Got you! hi Actually, the Olympics, I have not watched for a long time how it all smacks of political games and money ... Especially when the wave of humiliation of Russia began and it was very arrogant, cynical ..
Earlier it was "Oh sport, you are the world .." Although there was also a policy, but it was healthier in terms of competition between the two world systems and they followed each other strictly ..

.Millionaires are running across the field

Well, you do not row all athletes with the same brush
          1. Firstly, not all are millionaires, and you shouldn't be jealous of other people's money laughing
          2. Secondly, the majority do not fight for money, believe me, if you go in for sports for money and the result will be just as you write.
          3. And the fact that there is a lot of any liquid substance around is always in my memory. High performance sports are always politics and big money, and this is always dirt.

In general, sport is a separate world, everything is a little different there, not as seen from the outside. Even the same football, well, young guys are running, healthy, they get a lot of money and they all broken from head to toe, an ordinary person would have given up long ago. Or, for example, a person travels to competitions (my example) in prizes almost always, and if you count on a circle and sum up over the years - millions of losses. laughing

It is high time to decide on the creation of an alternative, non-political and impartial Olympic Committee, promoting the development of sport, peace and friendship. And not only Olympic. As soon as you meet the word "International ...", in the format of different organizations and committees, negative associations immediately arise with elementary political, national or economic selections.

It is unlikely that they themselves established the rules .. At the international level, Crimea is not recognized as the territory of the Russian Federation, so if they resolve something, they will receive questions from the other side ..
