Special-purpose nuclear submarine K-329 "Belgorod" of project 09852 has completed the first stage of factory sea trials. The submarine reportedly returned to base after going to sea.
Judging by the information, the carrier of the "Poseidon" nuclear submarine "Belgorod" spent almost a month at sea, since the first exit to the sea at the ZKhI was carried out on June 25, and the submarine returned to the base only on July 24. There is no information about the tests themselves.
According to the message TASS citing a source in the shipbuilding industry, in the near future the submarine will continue to undergo sea trials, in a few days it will go to sea again. However, it should be noted that this is unofficial information. As previously reported, Sevmash traditionally does not comment on the passage of tests by submarines, as well as the Ministry of Defense.
To date, it is known that the factory sea trials of "Belgorod" will smoothly pass into the state, the transfer of the submarine to the fleet planned by the end of the year. The Poseidon carrier will join the Pacific Fleet.
The multi-purpose nuclear submarine "Belgorod", launched on April 23, 2019, will be an experimental carrier drones "Poseidon". The regular carrier will be the Khabarovsk nuclear submarine of project 09851. Earlier it was reported that it was planned to build four Poseidon carriers - two each for the Northern and Pacific fleets. Three of them will be built as part of the current state armaments program until 2027, and one more will most likely be laid down as part of the new program.
