Joint military exercises "Cossack Mace-2021" have ended in Ukraine. According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the country, the tasks of the exercises were completed in full.

The Ukrainian military department summed up the results of the joint exercises "Cossack Mace-2021" held in the Nikolaev region. As stated, the tasks of the maneuvers were completed in full - the "hybrid invasion of Russian troops" in the south of Ukraine was repulsed, the enemy was driven back, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the support of the Scottish "archers", reached the borders.

In total, more than 2 thousand servicemen of Ukraine and Great Britain were involved in the maneuvers, as well as over 300 pieces of equipment. More precisely, the units of the 54th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a platoon of Ukrainian border guards and a rifle company of the 4th battalion of the Royal Scottish Regiment. The air component was provided by army aircraft aviation Air Forces of Ukraine and Great Britain.

According to the scenario of the exercise, Russian "hybrid troops", which in Kiev mean the units of the People's Militia of the LDNR, seized a small town on the Black Sea coast in order to create a new sector of the front. The valiant troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with "brilliance" drove them out of there, and the Scottish archers (as they are called in the Ukrainian media) acted as a guarantor against direct military intervention by Russia.

As a result, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine completed their tasks, the enemy retreated, control over the border was restored. At the closing ceremony of the exercise, the best participants in the maneuvers were awarded insignia and valuable gifts. Another rewind ...
