There was a video of the destruction of the French tank AMX-13 by the corrected projectile "Krasnopol"

A video of the destruction of a French lung appeared on the web tank AMX-13 with 2K25 Krasnopol ammunition of Soviet design. A short video was posted on the Warlik page! in the social network VKontakte.

There is no description for the video, the video itself shows the shooting of a Krasnopol guided projectile at a target, which is played by a French tank. Particular attention is paid to the flight of the projectile with rotation in the air. Where the video was filmed and at what time is not reported. Judging by the not entirely good quality of the shooting, it may have been filmed back in the 90s of the last century during the demonstration of ammunition by one of the foreign delegations.

Also, the option of showing the projectile to representatives of the Algerian army, which has been and is building French-made weapons, is not excluded. According to unconfirmed reports, the Krasnopol-M shell is in service with the Algerian artillery.

Krasnopol 2K25 is an adjustable high-explosive fragmentation projectile of 152 and 155 mm caliber. The ammunition is equipped with a jet engine and a homing head. Developed at the Tula Instrument Design Bureau for Soviet barreled artillery. It is currently in service with the Russian army in the 152mm 3OF39M (Krasnopol-M) and 155mm K155M variants. The target destruction range is up to 25 km. At the same time, it was reported about a long-range version - "Krasnopol-D", capable of hitting various types of targets at a distance of more than 40 km. The Ministry of Defense estimates the accuracy of the upgraded 2K25 at 95%.

In February 2021, it was reported that the development of a new guided missile "Krasnopol-M2" was completed. The Krasnopol-M2 guided armament complex for barreled artillery was originally developed in 155 mm caliber for export and was supplied to the armies of India and China. Compared to the basic version of the Krasnopol projectile, the new ammunition has a greater firing range (26 km versus 20 km), and the accuracy of hitting small targets is increased (0,9 versus 0,7).

In addition, the Krasnopol-M2 has increased combat power, as well as the ability to use it at any time of the day, in strong winds and clouds.

"More fun" I saw on TV footage of the 80s from Afghanistan. The destruction of a target of the "Duval" type with corrected ammunition ("Krasnopol" or "Brave") was removed from the ground. Suddenly in the air at an altitude of 150 meters above the object "out of nowhere" for a split second, one after the other, two horizontal jet streams in different directions (ammunition correction) - and the explosion of the object below. That was beautiful.

It looks like it. Thanks. Although now, after all that has been seen in recent years, it already looks a little old, not as impressive as then, already in 2007, when I watched it and read it in the paper Independent Military Review about Krasnopol, Centimeter and American "Copperhead" ... It seems that the American idea of controlling aerodynamic rudders ("Copperhead") turned out to be more widely applicable, and accordingly won.

Projectile ammunition is the weapon of the future. These would be to throw the LDNR, two hundred. And a UAV for guidance. They couldn't hide anywhere within 20 km. And in return. Shot - flew in! And to be exact ... To wean off "sanding" against civilians is possible only in this way.

No. This is the current reality. During the Vietnam War, they were the future; now, in modern aviation, they have completely replaced free-falling bombs and NAR. In artillery, these are standard ammunition, along with "unguided" ammunition.

ZY Tol burns with a dark red smoky flame, but the heat from it - ogogo! When to leave - they did not extinguish .... well, it will explode later, we will no longer be there. And this happened when the checker almost burned out, although there was more zilch than an explosion, it just warmed up decently. No. The idea is different - this is the economy of both ammunition and the carrier and additional high-tech jobs in modern small wars. Therefore, against numerous fortifications and caves or warehouses, infrastructure, without air defense, out of reach of artillery, it is better to use a cheap dive-bomber drone with an even cheaper old bomb, which will simply be taken by such an aerial robot and dropped to a point with the desired coordinates, dived and filmed for control. ... Otherwise, you will have to spend a lot using modern, expensive aircraft. Modern air defense systems have too expensive consumables to win out from such penny robots - they will win every single battle, of course, and they will lose the war either by a default of the state budget or by running out of ammunition.

And since the aforementioned non-people do not understand the human language and are not able to fulfill the agreements signed with their own hands that determine the procedure for the peaceful resolution of the conflict, they only understand the language of the zvizdyulina who flew over the pan, my country will make every effort to end the conflict there as soon as possible and restore the normal life of people there without the possibility they shit these non-people, within the framework of the toolkit, the use of which most intelligibly conveys to non-people the whole depth of their "delusions"!

In my opinion, it was in Ethiopia. Another war was planned between Ethiopia and Eritrea. For whom we were already I don’t remember (I read an article about ten years ago), but only two Krasnopol shells prevented the unsettled war - a tank column of one of the sides in a battle rush went towards the border to clean the snout of its opponents, when suddenly the first one exploded in column tank. And before that, the tankers sitting in the open turret hatches heard the characteristic sound of a falling shell. After a short period of time, the second tank underwent the same execution. It became clear that the tankers were not welcome here and they hurried to return their combat vehicles to their homes. This is how, with just two shells, hostilities were effectively prevented and without much persuasion. And the tanks were, by the way, our own T-54 and T-55, i.e. far from easy.

I will support. In general, there is often an erroneous opinion about the procedure for using these types of AUO complexes. TTZ for development cannot be divorced from the tactics of organizing combined arms combat, although the characteristics of the complexes have an impact on its refinement. For this, the corresponding RBR artillery units and other documents are being developed. KNP of the commander of the artillery unit with the means of art. reconnaissance of the attached forces, as a rule, is located at the command and control center of the combined-arms commander or in the immediate vicinity, which ensures the control and use of reconnaissance assets. KNP and its elements are located and equipped in accordance with the terrain conditions. The ranges and depths, the front of battle formations in various types of combat correspond to the system of organizing fire and the capabilities of reconnaissance means. But the destruction of the most important targets in the depths of the enemy's defense or in the RS, on the advancement of targets with illumination systems with pictures of the enemy's front edge crawling, is already a separate military operation.

As the experience of the Second World War (Su-152) has shown, a tank armed with a 152-mm cannon does not need an armor-piercing projectile to destroy any other tank, a high-explosive fragmentation projectile is enough.

They will pick up the ads ...
Krasnopol is not a corrected projectile, but a guided one. Corrected were 152-mm 3OF38 "Centimeter" and 240-mm mine 3F5 "Brave".
2K25 is not a Krasnopol missile. This is a complex of guided weapons, which includes this projectile. Whether the video talks about the full use of the complex is not clear, therefore it is incorrect to use the 2K25 index. The index of the projectile itself is 3OF39.
The 3OF39M projectile does not exist in nature.
The 155 mm K155M projectile is not in service with the RF Armed Forces. Why should I explain?
Not a single Krasnopol flies at 25 km. Neither ours nor the export 155 mm. Perhaps Krasnopol-M2 will take this bar - I cannot say anything about this. Development ... Until all the information is adopted, of course, is closed.

Enemies write that Excalibur flies 40-60 km. Are they lying?

No, they don't lie. Actually, there are no miracles in this, the enemies have long had a ballistic standard - 52-caliber barrels and 23-liter charging chambers. And we still live with a 84-year-old balresh - 47 klb and 19 liters, respectively. Hence the superiority in range. Physics cannot be fooled.

And on MSTA not 52 calibers?

            Unfortunately no.
Although, as often happens, it all depends on the craftiness of the author. For example, in the well-known book of V.N. "Artillery", in general, is quite professional, the length of the 2A65 barrel is indicated in 53 caliber. Where does this figure come from? Of the total length of the barrel together with the muzzle brake - 8130 mm. If you divide it by the caliber - 152,4 mm, you get the desired 53 caliber.
I do not deny the influence of the aftereffect of powder gases when the projectile exits the bore.
But still, let's distinguish between the total length of the barrel and the length of its rifled part, which actually determines the ballistic characteristics of the gun. And it has 2 mm in 65A2 and 64A6184. That is 40,6 calibers. That is, about the same as the American M109A5 +. And their characteristics are quite naturally almost the same.

Come on, the VKS of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation FABami, I don't know, maybe the time of the Second World War, it normally bombs, and where it needs to get

But the VKS of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation does not exist in nature. And so - let them bomb, of course laughing

In conjunction with a small UAV, a target designator is an effective tool.
