Polish media called their country the "Trojan horse" of Moscow
Russia would like to impose a "Russian way of life" in Poland, turning Warsaw towards Moscow, not Brussels. In turn, the Polish government is critical of Russia, but at the same time is not “friendly” with the European Union. Warsaw can become a "Trojan horse" for Moscow, launched into European territory, writes the author of an article for the Polish edition of Polityka Agnieszka Bryc.
Russia regards the West as its geopolitical adversary. Moscow does not divide it into any separate countries, but calls it a collective West, which includes the US, NATO and the EU. The approach to them differs, the author writes. If Moscow wants to be friends with Washington, then it tries to restrain NATO, but to destroy the European Union, and from within. And Poland will help Russia in this.
According to Agnieszka Bryc, in order to resist the collective West, Russia chose to strike at the "weakest link", ie. for the European Union. In Europe, the process of destruction of the united European society is gradually increasing, and Moscow hopes to "push" this process.
The Polish authorities, pursuing an anti-Russian policy, at the same time actively oppose the European Union, which plays into the hands of Moscow. The author is convinced that Poland will not leave the EU officially, but will itself move to its periphery, trying to create local blocs to confront both Russia and Europe.
Thus, without knowing it, Poland will become a "friend of the Kremlin", denying traditional European values and promoting the "Russian standard."
