In the Polish press: the ruling party in Poland said that Russia has a plan to invade the country
The ruling law and justice party in Poland said that Russia has a plan to invade the country. Its chairman, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, claims that this version is allegedly confirmed by cyberattacks on several prominent politicians of this Eastern European state.
Polish columnist Michal Fischer, whose article was published by Polityka, disagrees.
- he considers.
In addition, according to the Polish press, Moscow is simply not ready to invade their country now. According to Fischer, considering Russia's capabilities, one should take into account only conventional offensive weapons located near its western borders, and not the entire military potential of the Russian Federation. These forces and means are only one and a half times greater than the Armed Forces of Poland, which indicates that Moscow has no intentions to invade Poland in the near future.
But to include Warsaw in its orbit, Fischer believes, the Kremlin is striving. True, for this he does not need to use military force, it is enough just to drive a wedge between Poland and other European countries.
At the same time, Poland is reminded that the country is a member of NATO, which, apparently, should be viewed as a kind of warning.
