According to the general director, the corporation has launched serial production of the new APR-3ME anti-submarine aircraft missile and has already delivered the first batch to the military. At the same time, KTRV continues to develop new models of anti-submarine missiles, including the replacement of the aforementioned APR-3ME. According to the plans of the corporation, the military will be armed with a new aircraft small-sized torpedo, which is distinguished by a significant increase in the cruising range.

The APR-3ME aircraft anti-submarine missile is designed to destroy enemy submarines, it is unified for use with anti-submarine aircraft of the Tu-142ME, Il-38 type, and Ka-28 helicopters.

APR-3M "Grif" continues the line of anti-submarine missiles APR-1 "Kondor", APR-2 "Yastreb" and APR-3 "Eagle", which were in service with the USSR Navy and are in service with the Russian Navy. The APR series missiles are considered one of the most effective anti-submarine weapons.

Acoustic missile seeker has become more sensitive and with increased protection from interference. GOS can detect a submarine at a distance of 2,5 km (2 km from APR-3). The rocket is capable of hitting submarines reaching speeds up to 80 km / h and at depths up to 800 meters. The time from detection to lesion does not exceed two minutes.

The torpedo length has been reduced from 3685 to 3250 mm, and the weight from 525 ± 25 to 470 kg. To date, all the necessary tests have been completed with a positive result and the product has been put into service. The modernized ship-based Ka-27PL helicopters became the first carrier of the new anti-submarine missile. But the APR-3M can also be used from the Tu-142M and MZ anti-submarine aircraft, as well as the Il-38N of the Russian naval aviation. A special modification of the APR-3ME was offered for export.
