Negotiations on joint operational and strategic maneuvers are being held in Khabarovsk. In their course, the number of the Russian military contingent, which will take part in "Interaction" on the territory of China, is being agreed. The parameters of the composition of military equipment of the PLA (People's Liberation Army of China) are also being agreed.

According to the district press service, at the moment, the plans include sending to the PRC personnel of one of the motorized rifle formations of the Air Defense Forces, up to a battalion in size. Also, in joint operational-strategic exercises, it is planned to use tactical Aviation and a combined detachment of army aviation.

According to the latest information, the Russian and Chinese military will conduct maneuvers on the territory of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region of China - in the north of the country, several hundred kilometers from the borders of Mongolia. On the territory of this Chinese province, one of the largest military training grounds of the PLA is located - in the area of ​​the Helanshan mountain range with a length of more than 250 km. The average height above sea level in this area is about 2 thousand meters.
