Ukrainian army struck at the positions of the people's militia near Donetsk: NM DPR suffered losses
Ukrainian troops continued their provocations at the contact line. Only a few days have passed since the attack by a sabotage and reconnaissance group from the Ukrainian special operations forces on the Luhansk post of the people's militia, and now - a new attack. This time - already in the Donetsk direction.
According to the latest information, as a result of the Ukrainian shelling, four servicemen of the DPR people's militia were killed. Five more people were injured. The information is confirmed by the People's Police Department of the Donetsk Republic.
The reports say that the Ukrainian Armed Forces began a mortar attack on the adjacent territory at about 10:10 local time. Shelling was carried out from positions occupied by the 28th Ompb (separate motorized infantry brigade) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
After some time, an evacuation group was attacked, which moved forward in order to pick up the killed and wounded servicemen of the NM DPR. When firing at the car of the evacuation group, grenade launchers - SPG-9 were used. It is noteworthy that the shelling of the evacuation group was carried out with particular cynicism - after the "silence" regime was declared through the coordination structures of the JCCC in the area of the death of the DPR NM servicemen. The Ukrainian side was notified that the evacuation of the wounded and the bodies of the dead would be carried out.
Recall that a few days ago, five servicemen were killed in the LPR. There were snipers and representatives of the DRG, whose training at the base near Mariupol was carried out by American military instructors.
A few days ago, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that if the West stops helping Ukraine militarily, the Ukrainian army "will be forced" to become the strongest in Europe.
