Press of Ukraine: the Ministry of Defense of the country took under the protection of the secret tank "Nota"
Ukraine can be safely included in the number of record holders for the declared number of new types of weapons, most of which remain either in the form of drawings on paper or in the form of mock-ups. Since 2015, the Tirex tank has been actively discussed in Ukraine, but this vehicle has remained in the minds of those who were going to receive funds for its serial production. For some time now, a "promising army vehicle" to replace Soviet UAZs has been discussed. There was a project tank "Gaidamak". Now - a new statement. An innovation with a touch of Soviet era developments.
The Ukrainian press stated that the main military department of Ukraine took under protection the secret Nota tank. This is written by a man who calls himself a military expert - Sergei Zgurets. According to him, several samples of the "secret tank" were relocated from the territory of the Bashkirovka training ground to a special storage facility of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
From the statement:
It is stated that we are talking about 152 mm caliber ammunition.
Zgurets informs that in the future it is planned to receive from the Kharkov Machine-Building Design Bureau the corresponding documentation on ROC (development work) within the framework of the Nota project.
What is meant by the "secret tank" "Nota"?
In the 1980s, a project with the code "Nota" was registered in the USSR in the military-industrial nomenclature. It was a project, the result of which was to be a promising armored vehicle. In 1984, in Kharkov, the project was developed as "Object 477". The project was never brought to its logical conclusion, since at first financial difficulties arose, and then a single power ceased to exist.
Then in Ukraine they tried to return to the project. "Note" became a modification of the "Boxer" armored vehicle (later "Hammer"). One of the innovations being implemented on the tank is the automation of control, including the weapons of an armored vehicle. Also, the project involved the implementation of modular booking.
The Nota tank was designed in such a way that instead of a traditional turret, it had a relatively small combat module.
In Ukraine, it is assumed that the export of sold copies of "Notes" in the special storage of the Ministry of Defense is connected with the fact that, against the background of numerous reforms, the secret development does not turn out to be sold to third parties. On the basis of "Nota" they are again going to create a promising tank for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
