The militants attacked the positions of the SAA, and after the "response" accused the Syrian army of shelling civilians
On the eve, militants of one of the terrorist groups, using mortars and barrel artillery, fired at positions of government forces in the south of Idlib. The militants attacked the territories south of Jizr al-Shugur, including the settlement of Khan al-Sabil and the Jorin refugee camp. It is noteworthy that immediately after the strikes were made, the militants declared that they had "carried out a successful operation against the forces of the Assad regime." Of course, there were no reports from the militants themselves that strikes were also being made on civilian infrastructure.
But such messages appeared immediately after the "response" (retaliatory strike), which was carried out by units of the Syrian government forces (CAA).
Social media accounts immediately stated that "Assad's troops are striking civilians." It is stated that as a result of one such strike, allegedly 7 civilians were killed, 10 were injured. The attack, according to the militants, was carried out on "the civilian infrastructure of the cities of Al-Bara, Jabal al-Zawiya, and others."
A few days ago, it was in the Al-Bara area that the militants tried to regroup their forces in order to launch an offensive against the SAA positions in the Maaret al-Nuuman area. However, the Syrian government forces launched a counterstrike and the terrorists' plans were thwarted. Hiding behind the civilian population, the militants after a while opened artillery and mortar fire. At the same time, the practice of disinformation attacks is used in order to attract attention from the West, which has recently somewhat reduced the level of attention to what is happening in the Syrian Arab Republic.
