The attack, according to the militants, was carried out on "the civilian infrastructure of the cities of Al-Bara, Jabal al-Zawiya, and others."

A few days ago, it was in the Al-Bara area that the militants tried to regroup their forces in order to launch an offensive against the SAA positions in the Maaret al-Nuuman area. However, the Syrian government forces launched a counterstrike and the terrorists' plans were thwarted. Hiding behind the civilian population, the militants after a while opened artillery and mortar fire.
