"For someone, Venus is a UFO": the American astronomer commented on the statements of the US military about the observation of unidentified objects
Recently, the Pentagon presented a report on how the US military observed unidentified objects. Most often, such objects, called UFOs, were "encountered" by the US Air Force and Navy. In the published excerpts from the report, as already reported by Voennoye Obozreniye, the American command stated that the observed objects were not related to extraterrestrial civilizations. The American authorities use the abbreviation UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) for military-observed unidentified objects.
American scientists comment on the Pentagon report. Among them is the University of Texas astronomer Nick Santseff, who has been doing space exploration at an observatory in Chile for about 20 years and is one of those who "discovered" dark matter.
Nick Sanzeff:
I have not had the opportunity to get acquainted with the full version of the report. At the same time, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the images of unidentified objects shown by the Pentagon are usually out of focus. They are always blurry. One of the images was taken in a defocused version off the coast of California, where the active aviation traffic. It is difficult to say what is captured there, but this object is blinking like an ordinary passenger plane.
The American astronomer is skeptical about claims that these should be called "unidentified" objects. Santseff notes that, "perhaps if the shooting was carried out in focus, it would immediately become clear what kind of object is being observed." Thus, the scientist actually accuses the American military of forgery.
The astronomer notes that one of the US military claimed to observe an object in the sky that was "moving at a phenomenally high speed." Sanzeff believes that there is no data on the altitude at which this happened:
To talk about "incredible" speed, you need to know at least the altitude of the object, take into account the parallax. None of this is in the messages.

Most often, the explanations for these "UFOs" are very simple and boring. For example, the most common "UFO" is the planet Venus. When I drove to the parking lot, a group of people had already gathered there, pointing to the sky. I went there and asked to show me where it is. I look over there and it is Venus. The astronomer also commented on statements that the authorities allegedly "know a lot about alien civilizations, but they carefully hide it." According to the scientist, any secrets will reveal themselves sooner or later.
Nick Sanzeff:
I know that our government does not know how to keep secrets. They all become public knowledge. I do not believe that there is anything from the field of science that the authorities keep secret. We are often told about the alleged wrecked alien ships, and that representatives of an extraterrestrial civilization ended up on Earth. Listen, if an extraterrestrial civilization has reached the level of creating an interplanetary ship, which in a short time is able to cover thousands of light years on its way to Earth, and closer than this distance it is definitely not necessary to talk about the reality of extraterrestrial civilizations, then it is extremely doubtful that this ship crashes on Earth and that they don't know how to get out of here. I do not believe in this.
