A powerful explosion thundered on a gas pipeline in the center of Luhansk

A gas pipeline exploded in the capital of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic. According to the press service of the state-owned enterprise "Luganskgaz", an explosion followed by a fire took place almost in the center of the city.
According to the data available at the moment, the explosion occurred on the night of Thursday to Friday on a gas pipeline in the area of the Park named after May 1. The cause of the explosion has not been established; a strong fire was recorded at the site, which lasted until the morning. There are no casualties and no injuries, the overpass passing by is not damaged.

At the moment, the place of the explosion is cordoned off, law enforcement officers, specialists of the gas service are working on the spot, the cause of the explosion is being established. The official authorities of Lugansk have not made any official statements yet.
The incident has already been responded to in Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian media, "in occupied Luhansk," a gas pipeline, worn out over 7 years of occupation, exploded. " The involvement of Ukrainian saboteurs in the incident in Kiev is categorically denied.
