The Israel Defense Forces struck yet another blow at Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip. This was a response to the launch of Molotov cocktails from the enclave.
IDF headquarters confirmed the strikes and said they were aimed at Hamas military targets in the enclave. At the same time, the Israeli military warned that the Israel Defense Forces has increased its combat readiness in connection with the emerging threats and is ready for various scenarios, including the resumption of hostilities.
In response to Molotov cocktails launched from Gaza into Israel, we attacked military targets and a Hamas missile launch pad in Gaza
- said in the message of the IDF.
New Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett also spoke out for harsh measures in response to the launch of balloons with explosives and incendiary bombs. He said Israel would equate the launching of balloons with rocket attacks by Hamas.
Earlier, Tel Aviv said that Hamas is responsible for all actions in the Gaza Strip, since it completely controls its territory.
Note that this is the second strikes against Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip after the ceasefire was established. The ceasefire was introduced on the night of May 21 this year after 11 days of exchange of missile strikes.
