The American company offered the Ukrainian Air Force F-16 fighters

Foreign media publish information that an American company has made an offer to Ukraine on the supply of fighters. As it turns out, we are talking about the Lockheed Martin company.
On the pages of the Defense Blog, it is reported that this American company has offered the Ukrainian Air Force to purchase a batch of 4th generation F-16 fighters from it. It is noted that the Ukrainian side was offered F-16 aircraft in the Block 70/72 modification.
From the report:
Ukraine is striving to modernize its air force. In this regard, the F-16 Block 70/72 aircraft have been proposed, which will allow it to carry out such an upgrade in the best possible way.
Western media say that American fighters will help Ukraine replace the fleet of "old Soviet Su-27 aircraft." At the same time, it is indicated that Kiev "does not want to cooperate with Moscow in terms of updating these aircraft, but has chosen a course of partnership with NATO and the transition to NATO standards." In this regard, as indicated, Ukraine "needs to pay attention to the air component."
Western experts:
Turkish Bayraktars have already been purchased for the Ukrainian Air Force. It makes sense to purchase aircraft made by a NATO country.
As an option, it is the American F-16s that are being discussed. However, there is no data yet on the price at which these fighters are offered to Ukraine. But it is known that Lockheed Martin declares its readiness to give Kiev a choice: to acquire new or used F-16s.
