Borisov named the number of Su-57s planned for transfer to the Ministry of Defense by the end of this year

The Russian Aerospace Forces will receive four fifth-generation Su-57 serial fighters this year, not two, as previously reported. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov.

Borisov, who oversees the military direction in the government, visited Komsomolsky-on-Amur on Wednesday aviation plant named after Y.A. Gagarin (KnAAZ) in order to get acquainted with the course of production. As a result of the visit, he said that as part of the contract for the Su-57, the Ministry of Defense will receive four serial fighters by the end of the year.

At the same time, there is no specifics, the Deputy Prime Minister simply stated the fact without any explanations.

Earlier it was reported that only two Su-57 would arrive by the end of the year. At the same time, the media referred to an unnamed source in the military-industrial complex. According to the source, two Su-57s were to go to Akhtubinsk at the disposal of GLITs (State Flight Test Center).

To date, the Aerospace Forces received only one serial Su-57, which was handed over to the military at the end of 2020. According to the plans of the Ministry of Defense, by the end of 2024, the Aerospace Forces should receive 22 fifth-generation Su-57 fighters, and by the end of 2027 their number should increase to 76.

Meanwhile, it became known that the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant (KnAAz) is expanding production in connection with the implementation of contracts of the Ministry of Defense. As stated at the enterprise, in the near future it is planned to attract about 500 people of various specialties to production, who are trained in secondary specialized educational institutions and universities of Komsomolsk-on-Amur and Khabarovsk.

I am translating it into Russian: perhaps for this number of aircraft there will be eight first-generation engines, which, so far, are physically absent.

The Chinese J-20 with our AL-31 is considered the 5th generation, but the Su-57 with the AL-41 (much cooler) are not? And nobody cares about the stupidity of such a situation. Why is the 57th not the fifth generation?
And the engines, however, are getting closer to the series. What will they come up with when they get up on the 57th?

Permians somehow sideways here? "Product 30" is sculpted by the Lyulki design bureau in Moscow at VDNKh, and tests and fine-tuning are carried out at its branch in Lytkarino near Moscow!
And in Perm, they have been torturing PD-15 for 14 years and feeding the public with `` mriyas '' on PD-35 and further PD-50, PD-105))) Well, that is, they got all the projects from the times of early Gorbachev and the whole world amicably lined up in there is no queue for the purchase of these '' analogues, but all the best to you, stay there and do not get sick of the '' miracles of the '' guss '' wizards)))

Although, to be honest, almost all of the PD-14 was also piled in Moscow (there were no specialists in Perm at that time, and most importantly there were no equipment necessary for the manufacture of prototypes at the required technological level, their testing and refinement, and even now there is still work and work there. above this...

And who makes the shoulder blades for them? The gas temperature in front of the turbine for the "product 30" is more than 2000 K, and for the Al-31 - 1700. With the old coatings, the blades can no longer withstand ... All the UEC works. Cooperation. laughing

What are you? Is it true, what?))) And what about the first AL-41F in the year 88-89, the blades were kept at 2100K, when the Permians did not even have monocrystalline casting anywhere near? Neither equipment, nor, most importantly, people ... How did they come to be like this? Here is a riddle))) PD-14 does not have such temperatures and is not expected (painfully expensive for airlines that count every penny). So go by again!
With old coatings, the blades can no longer withstand ...
Yes, and who is going to put the blades there with `` old coatings '' and probably also with a convective-film concept of cooling the stages of the turbine engine?)))

I understand that the diesel is different from the turbojet engine, but is the Al-41F so different from the product 30? I think the main difference there is in the materials used, bearings, blades, etc. But is it really important for the technician what shape the turbine blade is or on which side the pump is installed? The technical documentation is attached.

The situation with personnel at KnAAZ is not very good. First of all, due to low salaries, in addition, there is a practice when a fixed-term employment contract is concluded with employees every year. It is not surprising that qualified specialists do not want to live and work for the minimum wage in harsh climatic conditions, despite the fact that prices in Komsmolsk stores are much higher than in the central part of the country. It is not easy to implement. Electric motors must be very compact and lightweight.
