Ukraine begins testing of 155 mm caliber shells of NATO standard of its own production

The state joint-stock holding company "Artem" (Ukraine) within the framework of the research and design work "Kovsh-55" begins testing 155 mm projectiles of the NATO standard of its own production. Thus, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will soon receive the first domestic NATO-caliber ammunition.

About this during the exhibition "Weapon and Security "said the President of the State Holding Company" Artem "Vladimir Zimin.

In creating the first domestic 155-mm projectile, we are moving in accordance with the approved plans and schedules. This week, the equipment of the ammunition corps of the investigated batch, which will soon be tested by detonation, is being completed. This will verify their performance and confirm that they meet all requirements for power and fragmentation.

- said the head of the enterprise.

After these tests, numerous fire tests will be carried out, which should eventually culminate in the adoption of a new ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Also at the exhibition, the Artem State Holding Company demonstrated at the Arms and Security exhibition a new promising development - the KOFS-152 projectile. It allows you to increase the range of Soviet artillery systems at times - up to 60 kilometers.

And you can't do without the SOVIET heritage? Create something of your own, SUFFERED, and do not add a cotter pin instead of a bolt with a shout to the whole world - the latest development, a breakthrough in technology ... although, all sensible are already over the hill ...

And we? What do we stand without our inheritance from the USSR? ...
Without succession and school, you can't go anywhere, and we and they received a rich inheritance, the question is who will dispose and dispose of how.
So, by the way, from our trinity, only Belarus did not destroy the Soviet enterprises, but modernized and expanded the range of products.

And who can do without the Soviet legacy? Europe and the States, which used our technologies? Or Russia, which is still firmly seated on the same legacy?

Sorry, what details do you want to know on this site, adequate or left the resource or do not want to comment on the fact that everything will come down to the fact that either a label will be hung or you will be declared a dreamer. And the article was written under a patriotic audience. Ku Yotu bears and commentators show off their wit. If you compare articles and comments ten years ago, you can immediately see what the resource has become.

They are unlikely to be able to provide the trunks in sufficient quantity. And with shells, like the idea they had to supply NATU with ammunition. I just think about how it will work out with the mortar. It seems that they created their own "Hammer" or a hammer (well, which one I do not give an estimate) and they are trying to produce it abroad, they cannot translate the technology into reality. But if it does, I hope the trunks will tear as well as hammers. wink

        To supply NATU?
        Are they serious?
Which military-industrial complex will give its ration to someone else?

Well, wanting is not forbidden. Moreover, Ukraine has already assigned posts in NATA to its own. as soon as they take it to NATO, they will trample it on. They look optimistically into the future.

Before firing, shells are tested by detonation in a pit to determine the high-explosive effect and the number and mass of fragments. If these parameters are satisfied, they proceed to firing.

They told them to switch to NATO standards, so they are moving ... as best they can! However, the owner will have something to say: "Reform! There is!" Disgracers! Artyom's name is being smeared! The revolutionary Artem would wake up now, he would show them both NATU and Bandera, and how to shell his Donetsk-Krivoy Rog republic!

tests of 155 mm caliber shells of NATO standard of its own production
Another quirk against the background of the dream of a happy life with NATO. The Ukrainian cunning is understandable. To begin the production of NATO-standard shells, so that later NATO would fit artillery systems to Ukraine for these shells, and preferably free of charge.

Barrage "Myslyvets", thermobaric "Speka" and 155-mm projectile from DAHK "Artem" - Zbroya and bezpeka-21

A very revealing video. I know how samples are licked at exhibitions, how they are prepared for video filming, and here it is ........................ even this video shows that The barrage "Myslyvets" was made with an ax! How much the level dropped, that for the exhibition they could not produce a normal model

Against the background of this news and taking into account the construction of cartridge factories for the same "Artyom", Ukraine will gradually switch to the calibers most widespread in the world, and of course, corresponding to NATO standards. We will see what this will result in after replacing Soviet calibers in our own army, how to drink it will also climb into traditional markets, where they compete with us, including the CIS.

They have an interesting new high-explosive fragmentation. Even if it flies the named 60 km, but judging by its appearance, its volume is scanty (or is it a conical BOPS? But then why are they pointing at him, talking about OFS?)
