A prototype long-range optoelectronic tracking station was presented in Ukraine

At the military exhibition taking place these days in Kiev "Weapon and security - 2021 "among the novelties of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, a prototype of the long-range optoelectronic tracking station" Jura Opticum "produced by Scientific and Production Corporation" KLIVER "LLC from the city of Krasny Luch, Luhansk region, was presented.

The new complex is designed to detect targets, take them for tracking and transfer data for destruction. According to the developers, the complex operates in both conventional and infrared ranges, target tracking is carried out in automatic and semi-automatic modes or by an operator. At the same time, the complex can operate on air, ground and sea targets.



According to the Ukrainian press, the complex is capable of capturing up to 6 targets simultaneously if they are in the field of view of the lens.

(...) the visibility of targets by the VK-1600 television measuring channel of an air target of the Mig-29 type in the range of 0,6-0,9 microns with an MPE equal to 30 km: at least 70 km, target tracking with a thermal imaging (TPVK) measuring channel in the range 3-5 microns with a focus of 500 mm and a matrix of 640 × 512 elements with an MPE of 30 km up to 200 km or more, the range of measured distances by a laser rangefinder at a wavelength of 1,57 microns for diffuse targets: up to 25 km

According to the plans of the developers, this complex can be used both in a stationary version, for example, on towers, and in a mobile one, installed on airplanes, boats and ships, as well as cars.

        Back in 14, the designers from Topaz and Iskra piled with the documentation to Kiev. They work in Ukroboronprom. It can be seen in the old fashioned way that the manufacturer is called by its former name.
