If we talk about unusual options for small arms weapons, then, without a doubt, such options include the PP-90 submachine gun. If an uninitiated person first looks at this weapon in a folded version, it is unlikely that he will have an idea that this "metal box" can be a weapon. At the same time, a couple of movements - and the "metal box" turns ... the "metal box" turns ... into the same PP-90 submachine gun unfolded.
PP-90 has two firing options - single and automatic. The switch of the types of shooting is located on the left, it also puts the small arms on the fuse.
It is worth noting that the PP-90 is one of the first variants of small arms, which was created after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The main customer was the Ministry of Internal Affairs. At the same time, the PP-90 has a foreign prototype. This is the American ARES FMG, a submachine gun designed for concealed carry. The caliber of the Russian PP-90 is 9x18 mm, the American "Ares" - 9x19 mm. The Russian machine gun is lighter than its American "predecessor" by more than 0,5 kg.
An overview of the unusual PP-90 submachine gun is presented on the Lazarev Tactical channel, where the PP-90 is called a transforming weapon:
