Two warships from the aircraft carrier group HMS Queen Elizabeth entered the Black Sea

Following the American destroyer URO USS Laboon DDG 58, a British destroyer and a Dutch frigate entered the Black Sea. Both ships passed the Turkish straits and are already in the sea. This is reported by the Russian National Defense Management Center.
The Black Sea Fleet has taken under continuous surveillance the destroyer D36 Defender Royal fleet Great Britain and the F805 Evertsen air defense frigate of the Royal Netherlands Navy. Both ships are part of the aircraft carrier group HMS Queen Elizabeth, a British aircraft carrier that went on a "long voyage" to the shores of China and is currently in the Mediterranean Sea.
According to the initial data announced by the British Ministry of Defense, three ships from the AUG were supposed to go to the Black Sea, but, apparently, the decision was changed and now only two ships went to demonstrate support to Ukraine and Georgia - NATO's main partners in the region.
On the official website of the Royal Navy of Great Britain there is no information about the tasks of the group yet. Recent publications talk about the call of these two ships in Istanbul to prepare for the "operation in the Black Sea". The crews resumed supplies and conducted training.
Earlier in the Ukrainian media it was reported that the UK will send a group of ships to "protect Ukraine from Russian aggression." In the near future we expect the arrival of a British destroyer and a Dutch frigate to the port of Odessa.
