Afghan army lost control of another area in the central part of the country
The Afghan army continues to lose control of the territories. Increasingly large areas are becoming zones of control of terrorists, including the Taliban terrorist group (* banned in the Russian Federation).
The day before, Taliban militants * took control of the Tolak area in Ghor province. This is the central province of Afghanistan. Attention is drawn to the fact that the Afghan security forces surrendered their positions to the Taliban * practically without a fight. Only in one of the sectors there were fierce clashes, but in the end, the Afghan army had to retreat there too.
Against the background of reports of the withdrawal of the American contingent from Afghanistan, the number of terrorist attacks in this country has also become more frequent. A few hours ago, militants staged a terrorist attack in the country's capital, Kabul.
A double explosion in the western part of the city killed at least seven people and injured six. According to the latest information, commuter buses were blown up.
Another explosion occurred in the immediate vicinity of the Muhammad Ali Jinn hospital. The terrorist attack took the life of one person, four were injured.
As noted, the attacks were aimed at the Hazaras. This is an ethnos whose representatives profess the Shiite direction of Islam. Today, there are about 2,9 million Hazaras living in Afghanistan.
Local police believe that the attacks were organized by ISIS militants (* a terrorist group banned in the Russian Federation), who are trying to spread their influence in various Afghan provinces.
