Former head of "Mossad" made revelations about Israel's secret operations against Iran
Revelations of the former chief of Israeli intelligence "Mossad" appeared in the press. Yossi Cohen told the public about how Israel conducted covert operations against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
One of the main directions of the anti-Iranian activities of the Israeli special services, according to Cohen, is the opposition to the nuclear program. Israel is trying with all its might to resist the receipt of nuclear weapons by Iran. weapons... However, this kind of confrontation sometimes looks strange. For example, Israel welcomed the US withdrawal from the so-called "nuclear deal" with Iran, although it was precisely this agreement that presupposed Iran's refusal to enrich nuclear fuel to "weapons-grade" parameters.
Yossi Cohen, allowing certain revelations, told reporters about the large-scale special operation of the Mossad to steal numerous Iranian documents related to nuclear development. According to the ex-head of the Israeli special service, in total, more than 55 thousand pages of documents and various kinds of files from the Iranian "nuclear" archive were taken out and stolen in another way. After that operation, Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke about the evidence of Iran's ambitions to create its own nuclear bomb. Netanyahu's speech took place about 3 years ago.
Cohen said that two dozen Mossad agents were involved in the operation to steal classified information. And an important note: none of them, according to Cohen, is an Israeli citizen.
Cohen:
According to the ex-head of the Mossad, in total, the operation was developed and carried out for about 2 years. At the same time, it was successful, and some of its participants had to be evacuated to Israel so that they would not end up in the hands of the Iranian special services.
An important addition: Cohen also spoke about the incidents at Natanz, where one of Iran's nuclear facilities is located. The importance of these statements is at least in the fact that earlier Israel did not recognize its attacks on this object.
Cohen:
Yossi Cohen also mentioned the massacre of Iranian physicist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh. Let us remind you that he was killed while driving in his car across Iranian territory. Cohen did not confirm that the massacre of Fakhrizade was the work of Israel, but pointedly noted that the Mossad had been monitoring it for several years.
