Military engineers of the South Military District are developing new stations for the extraction and purification of water "Hygiene"

Calculations of mining stations and water purification engineering and sapper units of the Southern Military District (South Military District) conduct special classes at the testing grounds and training complexes of the Southern Military District.

During the field work, the station calculations will learn to properly equip the field water supply equipment at various water sources and comply with the standards for the deployment and collapse of the recently added engineering units of the SKO-10 Hygienic Station.

When teaching device and equipment for field water supply at various water sources, classes are held during the day and at night, with particular attention being paid to choosing the right layout for the working platform elements and providing protection from exposure weapons mass destruction.

The modern station SKO-10 "Hygiene" is gradually replacing the earlier version of the stations for the extraction and purification of water VFS-10 in the army. The advantage of SKO-10 is to purify water not only from natural pollutants, but also from toxic and radioactive substances, bacterial agents and highly toxic substances.

СКО-10 "Hygiene" is capable of purifying water from mechanical particles, suspended solids, colloidal compounds, ferric iron, neutralizes anthropogenic substances and toxic substances of organic origin, including chemical warfare agents, deactivates radionuclides, including products of a nuclear explosion, disinfects from bacteria and viruses , including pathogenic and bacterial agents of mass destruction.

The cleaning capacity is 8-10 cube. m / h, desalination capacity - up to 5 cube. m / h

Training specialists and approbation of the water-technical supply of troops in the field will fully provide drinking water to the units of the district involved in the Kavkaz-2012 strategic command and staff exercise.

In total, about 500 military personnel were involved in the personnel training of the mining and cleaning stations of the engineering and sapper units of the Southern Military District, and about 50 units of special equipment were involved.

Filtration systems, as well as water extraction, were developed back in the 50s, now they are simply being improved and the elementary base is being changed. So it is not necessary "that they really started taking care of the soldier." There is still enough equipment in the old park in the troops.

Good technology, well done, our scientific engineers. I hope that the troops will not have problems with clean water and diseases in field exercises ...

For a long time a couple had been thinking about soldiers! But I’m glad that at least now they started to do something to facilitate the service

If this is purely our development, then I welcome it.
And if imported filters are installed there, then during the fighting through the front line to run and buy from the enemy is somehow not high.

Hardly! No fools are developing such systems! I think that everything is domestic there.

To the question about filter resource

The resource of the filter elements:
    - sorbent (one load) when cleaning from OV, RV and SDYAV - not less than 100 hours;
    - sorbent (one load) when cleaning from other low molecular weight organic substances - up to 4000 hours;
    - ultrafiltration apparatus when cleaning from natural pollution - not less than - 5000-8000 hours.

Those. 4000 hours of work at 10 tons per hour, not at all bad.

Well, let's put in the SA in each regiment there was a then-generation auto installation. providing all daily water requirements for both l / s and equipment. Another question, which was often used, for the banal extraction of pervach from braguly ....

The only pity is that the water seems to be taken from open sources and cleaned. Israel went a little different way. They just extract the water contained in the air. There seems to be a restriction on use

The Ministry of Emergency Situations and more abruptly have cars, and for civilian traffic it is painfully to use such ones; you have to pay for mobility. It’s easier to build complete water treatment systems.

They have no other choice - the desert.

It's all about the approach to the problem, how to solve it! And the climate of Israel is very different, that’s what they write on Wiki.
The climate of Israel is subtropical, Mediterranean type, relatively humid in the north, semi-desert and desert in the south.
The humid winters and dry summers that are typical for the subtropics, short and not always obvious autumn and spring, are exposed in Israel to such contrasting factors as the proximity of the sea in the west and the desert zone in the east, which also covers almost the entire southern half of the territory of the State of Israel, the neighborhood with wet region in the north (Lebanon) and the country's difficult terrain. These factors cause sharp deviations from average climatic norms in some of its regions. Despite the small size of the country, it has zones of moderately hot and relatively humid climate (Upper Galilee, Carmel massif), hot and semi-moist (Coastal Plain and Central Highlands), arid (Jordan Valley and the Negev Plateau) and desert climate regions (Dead Sea, Arava Valley, Paran Upland).

How many years have passed, and the gasoline pump and the rubber tank are the same. There is nothing new, even the dispensers in the same place. The power station from a separate trailer was soldered to the rear.
Therefore, here instead of gas-66, four-osnik. sad

Israel took a slightly different path.

It is understandable, there are no rivers in the desert, for it is drilled if only ...

Air water generator for the military.

"The solution to the problem was proposed by the Israeli company Water-Gen. The source of water can be provided anywhere and at any time," she said, if you take life-giving H2O from the air, of which there is a lot even in the desert.

So, first the air is fed into the filter system, where it is cleaned of dust, and then in special filters there is extraction (intake) of water, which slowly fills the cans. After that, clean water is cooled - and you can drink it by pouring it from a tap located directly in the car cabin or in a tank (it follows from the description that the system is very, very volatile and does not show mobility - which means that it can only be installed on a movable chassis )

According to one of the founders of Water-Gen, water transportation is one of the main reasons for sending small escort troops in Afghanistan. And these convoys, alas, very often become easy prey for the enemy, which leads to large losses of personnel. If the water was "produced" in the same place where it was needed, then ridiculous victims could have been avoided, and at the same time raised the morale of units.

According to Water-Gen, its vehicle-mounted unit produces 40-80 liters of clean drinking water per day, even in the most severe weather and field conditions. The system is also solar powered. In 2011, the company conducted a three-week trial of the facility in the US Army, where it provided fighters with water during military exercises. "

T.O. we see 2 drawbacks - low productivity, suitable for a small unit operating autonomously. + water composition - almost 100% distillate. It is also necessary, as in reverse osmosis, to add salt.

The disadvantage and Hygiene alone, but very large !!
This technique uses water from open sources ............ the impression is that all the fighting takes place along the rivers?
Try to find some water in Kalmykia !!!
