Syrian heroes of the information front
This rally is dedicated to the memory of Ali Abbas - head of the local News agencies "SANA". The journalist died in the suburb of Damascus, Zhdeida Artuz, near his own home, August 11 - anti-Syrian terrorists ruthlessly dealt with him. He fell like a soldier, only on the information battlefield.
Today in Syria, journalists are dying on a par with soldiers. But if the soldiers even have weaponin order to defend themselves, journalists often remain completely defenseless in the face of barbaric terror.
So, 10 August bandits kidnapped the crew of the TV channel "Al-Ihbariya", among them a girl - Yara Saleh. This happened in the village of Tel-Mnin near Damascus. On Sunday, it became known about the death of one of the members of the crew - assistant cameraman Hatem Abu Yehya. A video made by the kidnappers appeared on the network - the three surviving journalists of the TV channel were forcibly seated under the insurgents' flag. Yaru Saleh is hard to find out.
The correspondent girl, known in Syria for her reports exposing the crimes of the rebels, was forced to wear a baggy dress and a hijab - this contrasts with her usual image! And it shows unequivocally that it is waiting for all free women in Syria in the event of the victory of the "opposition." The terrorists set the conditions for the release of the film crew - the army must stop the military operation and release members of the terrorist underground, and ordered to negotiate with a representative of the rebels, who are in Saudi Arabia. So this is where the "legs grow" of this crime!
Al-Ikhbariya TV channel was created recently, it consistently and courageously exposed the bloody acts of the rebels. Therefore, it became for them a bone in the throat. A lot of crimes have already been committed against the TV channel and its employees.
12 June bandits attacked the film crew of a television channel in the village of Al-Haffa near Latakia. One of the journalists was seriously wounded in the chest, another was wounded in the arm. The journalists performed their duty until the end — already wounded; they were shooting to the last while they were conscious.
27 June attacked Al-Ihbarii’s office. Three journalists and four guards were killed. People were tied up, put on their knees and killed. The building, along with all the equipment blew up.
Later, the representative of the so-called "Syrian opposition" in Moscow, Mahmoud al-Hamza, gave an interview to "Komsomolskaya Pravda". And when KP correspondent A.Kots, who managed to visit the explosion site during his business trip to Syria, asked Hamze a direct question about this crime, this “freedom fighter” did not find anything better than to cynically accuse the TV channel of “mendacity”. To which the reporter replied that anyway, this is not a reason to put journalists on their knees and shoot them.
Earlier, 4 August was abducted by the same channel operator Mohammed Janbakli. Nothing is known about his fate.
But not only the staff of Al-Ikhbarii, but any journalist who dares to tell the truth about the events in Syria, becomes the target of this monstrous hunt.
It is clear that the rebels do not like the TV channel that covers their atrocities.
So, in Homs the other day Iranian journalist Ahmed Sattuf was captured. He shot news coverage of events in the city for both Al-Alyam Iranian television and Al-Ikhbariya Syrian news channel.
And on July 19, the famous Syrian TV anchorman Muhammad al-Said was kidnapped. The rebels laid out a video in which he would be severely beaten. He was demanded to cooperate and go over to the "opposition" side, but they did not wait. 4 August an unruly journalist killed.
On the morning of August 6, an explosion occurred in the building of the Central Radio and Television in Damascus. Fortunately, there are no dead. But three people were injured. Hurt equipment.
Attempts were repeatedly made to seize the radio and television building in Aleppo. Fortunately, they were repulsed by the army. Otherwise, the staff would certainly have been waiting for the same tragic fate as their colleagues from Al-Ikhbariya ...
How do you want the enemies of Syria drown out the voice of truth! They used to say that Syria was losing the information war. But, apparently, we are talking about the fact that its journalists, on the contrary, win the information war. They beat off the false attacks and provocations of enemies, telling people the truth. And the truth goes beyond Syria, and it is scary for those who want to declare this country guilty with impunity and strangle it under the joyful cries of the duped "international community." Therefore, they kill, kidnap, torture the champions and the bearers of Truth.
And after all, all subversive work against Syria is conducted under the slogans of "freedom" and "democracy." But what kind of democracy is this when terrible crimes are committed against journalists, and the world is silent? All the media immediately broadcast the death of any Western journalist and condolences to many “human rights” organizations, they are given bonuses for courage. Who will award Syrian journalists? Who would at least express sympathy to the relatives of the fallen soldiers of the information war?
But the West is unprofitable to talk about it. After all, then in all its glory the rebels supported by it will appear. If the world knew the truth about these monstrous crimes, then the leaders of the anti-Syrian coalition would have no chance to hide behind the slogans of democracy and continue to bend their aggressive line under this beautiful cover. On the contrary, it would become clear that they support not “peaceful demonstrators” and not “noble rebels”, but non-humans who fight against unarmed journalists and defenseless freedom of speech.
However, Russia condemned the attacks on media representatives in Syria. A statement by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman M. Zakharova said: “We strongly condemn terrorist attacks on journalists, ensuring the realization of fundamental democratic rights of citizens to receive objective information, freedom of speech and opinion. ... International and regional organizations, as well as those countries that have influence on the armed opposition cannot remain on the sidelines and not respond to the aforementioned glaring facts. " Will they hear the statements of Russia?
Even this has to be doubted, looking at the kind of dirty information war being waged against Syria and against Russia. Unlike Syrian journalists who carry the truth and pay for it with their lives, some of their colleagues do not differ in their truthfulness. For example, employees of the Saudi newspaper "Al-Watan" did not find anything better than how ... to make a fake interview with the deputy. Foreign Minister of Russia M. Bogdanov. In it, Bogdanov allegedly says that Bashar Asad is ready to leave, and tells tales about the "wounding" of Syrian President's brother, Maher Asad.
In fact, it turned out that M. Bogdanov did not give any interviews, especially the Saudi lying newspaper, and did not say anything like that. “We view these messages as another link in the chain of throws and provocations,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
But these people who have cooked up a fake and whom the language does not turn to be called journalists after that, apparently, will not be held accountable for the lies. They will still make stuffing and carry frank lies. And the Syrian journalists, who are not broken by the terrible hunt that is being waged against them, will continue to speak the truth. Because someone has to tell the truth, so that evil does not triumph in this world again. And so that not the flag of colonialism used by the rebels would fly over Syria, not this flag, under which the kidnappers planted the beaten journalists of Al-Ikhbarii, but a real Syrian flag that people brought to the building of the SANA agency in memory of the fallen heroes of the information front.
