The details of the organization of security at the airport, where the "Yom Kippur aircraft" was robbed, became known
The security of the airfield of the Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after Beriev (TANTK), where the equipment was stolen from the plane of the Yom Kippur Il-80, was carried out by departmental security according to an agreement concluded this spring.
As follows from the data posted on the public procurement portal, TANTK im. Beriev spent 24,1 million rubles on organizing security. The agreement was concluded on April 1, 2020 for a period of one year until March 31, 2021. FSUE UVO of the Ministry of Transport of Russia was chosen as the supplier for "the provision of services for the protection of the transport infrastructure facility of the Taganrog (Yuzhny) aerodrome of PJSC TANTK Beriev", as the only one available on the basis of the decision of the Russian government of 2011.
- says the documentation.
According to the documents, eight round-the-clock posts should be organized at the airport to guard the facility and prevent damage to the customer's property.
As previously reported, from the airfield TANTK im. Beriev of the Il-80 "Doomsday" aircraft, the attackers removed the radio equipment in the amount of 39 blocks of various communication equipment and five more boards from five of the same dismantled blocks. Presumably, the list of the abducted included radio transmitting and receiving devices, equipment for classifying speech information and encryption devices.
According to law enforcement officers, the so-called "metalworkers" who were somehow familiar with the specifics of work at this airport or who had previously worked at this facility could be involved in the theft. It is also possible that the stolen goods may lead to leakage of top secret information.
