Yerevan named the number of settlements in Karabakh that came under the control of Baku
121 settlements in Nagorno-Karabakh have already passed or will soon come under the control of Azerbaijan in accordance with the signed trilateral statement on the cessation of hostilities. The list of settlements was published by the Armenian government on its website.
The Armenian government brought to the attention of the population the rules for receiving a one-time aid of 300 thousand drams (600 dollars) for the residents of Karabakh, previously registered and living in cities and villages that came under the control of Azerbaijan. In total, according to official data, residents of 121 settlements claim the payment.
The list includes 52 settlements of the Kashatagh region (includes parts of the Lachin, Kubatly and Zanlelan regions of Azerbaijan), including the cities of Kovsakan (Zangelan - Azerb.) And Minjivan (Minchivan). 16 settlements in Shahumyan region (located on part of the Kelbajar region of Azerbaijan), including the city of Karvachar (Kelbajar). In the Hadrut region, 29 are to be transferred, including the city of Hadrut, but the villages of Khtsaberd and Khin Taher of the Hadrut region remain with the Armenian side. Eight - in Mardakert (Agderin) region, six - in Martuni (Khojavend) region, eight - in Askeran region. Also, the city of Shushi and the village of Karintak in the Shusha region passed under the control of Baku.
At the same time, the return of refugees to Nagorno-Karabakh continues. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on the evening of November 22, 2020, about 1,4 thousand residents returned to Stepanakert on Sunday. The columns of buses with refugees were accompanied by Russian peacekeepers all along the way.
