Sell Lenin, or Return to the 1990s
The world has entered a decisive stage of global changes. Many well-established dogmas and views on some things are questioned today. For example, the stability and inviolability of countries that declare democracy as a system of their own state structure. In the context of global changes in the world, it turned out that everything that was spoken of as the achievements of mankind is just another way to establish the power of one group of people over another.
In the same way, the legend of the omnipotence of the market and market relations as a guarantee of the rapid development of the economy and science collapsed. At the first serious challenge, I mean the coronavirus, it turned out that “the best in the world”, “the standard for everyone else” and other beautiful slogans that are full of advertising brochures of Western companies are just a well-conducted PR campaign. And the countries that rushed headlong to build these very relations at home are not Eden today.
Even the myth of the most powerful army in the world, which consists of the most trained soldiers and officers, has been questioned. Not so long ago, even the youngest readers remembered the main argument in the debate about the strength of the armies of the world was the argument about the cost of equipping, arming and maintaining the army. They say, where is everyone else, when the Americans spend only on the maintenance of army dry closets ...
Remember how the most powerful army in the world behaved in the conflict with the DPRK? Do you remember the attacks by the famous and unsurpassed Tomahawks at the positions of the Syrian army? Once the essence of the "most powerful army in the world" was outlined by a German general (Nikolai Gritsenko) in a dialogue with Stirlitz (Vyacheslav Tikhonov), which took place on a train to Bern.
And "This is for you guys!" from Major Roman Filippov, remember? Do you remember the machine gunner Tasbolat Ibrashev, who stopped the Georgian army convoy in South Ossetia? We are quite calm about such feats. It's kind of like the norm for a soldier. Meanwhile, it is this factor, the dedication and courage of the soldiers and officers of the Russian Federation, is considered in the United States as one of the main ones.
Russia's stability must be undermined at any cost
Russia today is an enemy for the United States. An enemy to fight! Not yet open, in other ways, but to fight and win. Moreover, the Americans do not hide this and quite openly call us this way in official documents. Hence the events that take place at our borders. Ukraine, Armenia and Azerbaijan, Belarus, the Caspian and Black seas ...
You don't have to be an expert not to understand that all these hotbeds of tension have the same purpose. It is necessary to force the Russians to transfer military units and formations from one dangerous sector to another, and ultimately force them to act “according to the old patterns”, to follow the same path as the USSR. The goal is an arms race and the decline of the Russian economy.
In theory, everything looks quite achievable. We are bound by agreements with our neighbors and simply cannot but react to changes in the situation in their countries. Even the severance of relations with the Kremlin, as was done in Ukraine, did not change the situation in any way from the point of view of Washington.
Ukraine was supposed to become a detonator of a public explosion in Russia and Belarus, but, on the contrary, became a factor in strengthening the unity of the people in both states. That is why the operation in Belarus failed. Therefore, in the situation with Alexei Navalny, a completely opposite effect is observed. Instead of "general outrage" by the government's actions, the Russians rallied. And instead of supporting Navalny, there is an outflow of his supporters in society.
I get the impression that the experts on contemporary Russia in the United States have stopped in time. Somewhere in the late 80s - early 90s of the last century. Simply because such operations might well have worked just then. Much has changed today. The country's stability has been achieved not so much by slogans and propaganda, but by the fact that most people have something that they do not want to lose. That is why they do not understand in the West why only young people and a few “old people” on the salary discuss their stuffing.
Hence the return to the old plans for the collapse of the USSR. Returning to old problems. Russia needs to be shaken, it needs to be shaken, society needs to be destabilized. At any cost.
Let's return to the problem of Lenin's body ...
Remember the discussions that tore up our society in the 90s? One of the topics then was the burial of the body of the leader of the world proletariat. Almost all prominent politicians were noted in the debates on this issue then. Moreover, an attempt was even made to replace the "banner". Lenin was replaced by Emperor Nicholas II. Even the church took part in this struggle.
It all ended quite simply. For those who continued and continues to believe in the communist ideal society, and the communist ideas are a means of achieving heaven on earth, Lenin remained, there was a mausoleum, there was a necropolis near the Kremlin wall and in the wall. Those who hated communism began to revere a new martyr - the sacrifice of the communists of Emperor Nicholas. For the majority, however, this issue was closed by itself when the media stopped artificially supporting it.
And now the same idea has been abandoned again, but in a slightly new package. American artist David Datuna offered to buy out Lenin's body and transport it to the United States. Moreover, Datuna even suggested that American technology could "revive" the leader. In principle, for all the idiocy of this assumption, the idea was supposed to stir up Russian society.
It should be because, according to opinion polls, for example, by the Levada Center, Russian society today treats the burial of the body “in no way”. The number of those who are for burial and those who are against is approximately equal. At the same time, a fairly significant number of respondents do not care about this question.
If you think about it, then this idea is from the same series, from the 90s. Yesterday, in conversations with neighbors and acquaintances, I specifically asked a simple question: how old would Lenin be today? The results are most revealing. From “yes go with that Lenin” from your neighbor in the garage to “who is Lenin” from a schoolboy in the yard.
It is clear that these people will not argue among themselves, grab each other by the breasts and spit saliva. It is also clear that there are those that will be. Their number is decreasing, but they are. And there are those who even now will run to dig Lenin's grave. But the question itself is not interesting to society. It is impossible to split society with this.
The air smells ...
More and more often in the speeches of politicians from different countries the theme of a future war is heard. Moreover, the Americans are actively developing the theme of "arrogant Putin who ...", we are talking about NATO and some European countries that are crawling to our borders. Europeans generally change their rhetoric all the time. From "peace, friendship, chewing gum" to "Russians are already coming." And only China makes a smart face and keeps quiet. At the same time he actively plays “under the carpet”.
It's time to write a classic song "the air smells like a thunderstorm." But for some reason I don't want to. I can smell a completely different smell in the air. The air smells like ... excrement. The very waste of human life. Believe me, in my life I have learned to distinguish between the smell of ozone and the smell of a public toilet.
There is a danger of the outbreak of hostilities. The human factor has not been canceled and will not be canceled. Fear has big eyes. Someone somewhere can press the wrong button. According to the generally accepted norms that are instilled in us by our media, Americans - American, Europeans - European and so on, in the event of a strike on a country, there will be a response not only from that country, but also from its allies.
Axiom? Not at all. We quickly forget facts. Let me remind you of a Russian plane shot down by the Turks. And ... How did all these agreements and commitments work? No way! Today, in connection with some changes in the doctrine of Russia, the situation will be somewhat different. Attack, response with the destruction of the army and infrastructure of the attackers and diplomatic "showdown" with all its allies. Well, and lamentations about the victims ... Fear perfectly sobering up any aggressor.
Why all this and when will ebb tide follow
I will try to be "original". America is to blame for everything! I really think so. Americans are well aware of the crisis in their own society. And they act with proven methods. Nothing unites a nation like an external enemy. Donald Trump is also solving his own task of being re-elected for a second term. Wants to be the new Roosevelt.
Europe? Here, too, everything is clear. Any herd, flock, herd goes where the shepherd, shepherd or herder drives it. Even when there is a cow with a temper in the herd. The Europeans themselves are already beginning to ask their governments about the expediency of certain actions. I don't even want to write about the effectiveness of the sanctions.
In theory, the ebb tide should begin immediately after the US presidential election. This is the line beyond which must come peace from victory or defeat. But this is only in theory. In practice, the situation is somewhat different.
Many politicians and experts remember Vladimir Putin's speech in Munich on February 10, 2007. Its "continuation" at the Valdai Forum on October 24, 2014 is also remembered. I see no sense in repeating the essence of the thoughts expressed by the Russian president. Just to remind you of the reaction of world leaders. Almost everyone then really thought about many of the things mentioned.
Today, when European and world politics are in full swing, the leaders of most countries are hiding for some reason. There are no loud statements, no serious decisions, there are not even any more or less noticeable actions. Everyone suddenly became concerned about the internal problems of their countries. And why?
The answer was given by the Russian Foreign Ministry. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on the situation. From 22 to 29 September, the 75th session of the UN General Assembly will be held in New York. Due to the situation with the coronavirus in the United States, the leaders of the countries will not go in person. But they will speak at the session via videoconference. Among 119 leaders of countries and 54 heads of government, there is also Putin's speech.
It seems to me that today the world is waiting for this very speech. What will the Russian president say about the situation in the world? What ways out of the crisis will he suggest? Ultimately, it will be either surrender to the mercy of the winners, which even the most ardent opponents of Russia do not expect from Putin, or it will be a warning to "hooligans" about responsibility in the event of a hot phase of relations.
Very few people know the answer to this question. And that is only because this speech has already been recorded and sent to the organizers of the UN General Assembly session. It won't be long to wait. Vladimir Putin's speech will be delivered on the first day of the session, September 22.
