Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, III degree. The corresponding decree of President Vladimir Putin of September 14 was published on the official portal of legal information.
The decree says that Dmitry Medvedev is awarded the order "for services to the state and many years of conscientious work." This is the third Order of Merit for the Fatherland that Medvedev received. In 2005, he was awarded the 2nd degree order, and in 2015 - the first.
