Israeli organization defended the Omsk hospital, where Navalny was hospitalized

After the founder of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, blogger and oppositionist Alexei Navalny, was evacuated to Germany on August 22, many attacks and insults appeared on the network towards the Omsk BSMP No. 1, where Navalny was brought by ambulance after an emergency landing of the plane in which he got sick.
Aleksey's supporters accused the Omsk doctors, the first of whom was the chief doctor of the hospital, Anatoly Kalinichenko, of incompetence. And the hospital itself was criticized for the lack of proper repair. Nagging at the hospital was first voiced by the brother of the founder of FBK, Oleg Navalny.
While the doctors refused to issue permission to transport Navalny, Oleg spoke negatively about the conditions in which the patient is being kept: “peeling walls and the last repairs in honor of the 1980 Olympics”. And he added that "it will be safely transported from here, even by railcar."
The rescue organization “Hand of Jerusalem”, headed by its leader Baruch Liviev, came out in defense of the Omsk doctors. According to B. Liviev, Russian doctors in terms of education are no worse than their colleagues from abroad. They did their job well and competently and made every effort to stabilize Navalny's condition and prepare him for transportation.
Baruch Liviev emphasized that it was the Omsk ambulance doctors and emergency hospital No. 1 who were the first to come to the aid of Alexei Navalny, considered the possibility of poisoning as one of the diagnoses and conducted a study for the presence of cholinesterase inhibitors in the body. And only after the study showed a definite and not sufficiently confident result, respectively, the diagnosis was not final, and it may also seem doubtful to many.
The head of the “Hand of Jerusalem” organization expressed confidence that all the actions of the doctors were competent and urged not to accuse the specialists of incompetence, but instead take an active part in organizing the repair and modernization of the hospital where Navalny was taken after an emergency landing on his flight in Omsk.
Liviev noted that criticism of specialists in this situation not only will not help Navalny, but also denigrates Russian medicine. It is better to focus your efforts on providing assistance - financial, informational and any other - so that Russian doctors can work in proper conditions and have all the equipment necessary to deal with such difficult cases.
Baruch emphasized that the rescue organization “The Hand of Jerusalem” can help with the organization of repairs and supply of Omsk emergency hospital No. 1 with modern equipment, since Israel has rich experience in training advanced medical centers and medical personnel.
In addition, it is necessary to focus our efforts on raising the prestige of Russian medicine. At a time when photographs of the dilapidated hospital where the opposition leader was treated were shown around the world, it is wrong for Navalny's associates to attack doctors. Lacking the conditions that European medical centers have, they did their job well, stabilized the patient's condition and made his transportation to Germany possible. And all this - in the face of constant accusations, pressure and almost a siege of the hospital by Alexei's supporters.
In his statement, B. Liviev first wished Alexei Navalny a speedy recovery, and also urged not to make doctors look bad, but to take an example from those who understand that doctors have done a great job under difficult conditions. And instead of reproaches to take real steps to provide concrete assistance in the repair and re-equipment of the Omsk hospital. The Hand of Jerusalem is ready to take over the organization of these events.
