The results of the week. Not surprised ...
“Military Review” this Sunday evening presents several stories in the section “Weekly Results”.
Short materials with comments from our readers. Today - and with a new subsection - "Not Surprised" (in the final plot).
But what about nirvana?
In the Asian blogosphere, materials began to appear that contradict the initial statements about the shootout on the Indian-Chinese border.
It turns out that in the border battle, the Chinese military used a unique development against Indian opponents - weapon class "tie gun" (铁棍) - an iron stick. In response, the Indian military used the long-established means of defeating the “patthar” (पत्थर) - cobblestone. And somewhere around a couple of thousand kilometers from the place of the Indo-Chinese melee, the rank and file armies of the two countries continued to rub intercontinental ballistic missiles to shine.
Well, if so, then you still feel the thousands of years of wisdom of civilizations ... A stick and a stone are in every way better than something nuclear. True, they still somehow tightly listen to the philosophical and religious precepts of their ancestors about self-contemplation, attitudes towards the world and the desire for nirvana ...

Warlike abbot
Dramatic events unfolded in the Central Ural Monastery, not far from Yekaterinburg. The monastery is captured by the people of the disgraced shiigumen, but the police have not yet taken coercive measures against the clergyman.
In the week, Sergius, aka Nikolai Romanov, called on Patriarch Kirill to resign his patriarchal powers.
If only four months ago there appeared a summary from the series: a monk who had previously served as a policeman expresses disobedience to church hierarchs because they ordered that people not be allowed into the monastery because of a disease that spread across the entire planet ... One could twist a finger at the temple and marvel at the absurdity of the movie script. But in the courtyard of June 2020, when the igmunas went too warlike, and they thank some for the masks on their faces, others strive to “walk” on this very face. And what you wanted is self-isolation, it is like that. They tried to plant all the “cells”, but then it turned out that not all of us have monks in order to accept this humbly. There, shihigumen and he could not stand it ...

I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my reasoning. This is an attempt to look at the situation spiritually soberly, without emotions.
Close your left eye, read the third line: MiG-29, Su-24, P-18 ...
The African Command of the US Armed Forces (AFRICOM) has published new photographs, which, according to the US military, indicate the presence of the Russian military aviation in Libya.
No, the "satellite" success of the Pentagon, whatever you say, is obvious. If 5-6 years ago, as evidence of the onset of Russian tanks blurry photos of three Rostselmash combines were given out in the Donbass, and for the presence of innumerable Russian divisions there was a screen from a browser-based shooter, now it’s a big step forward. Here the Pentagon can have only one competitor - channel 1, where the fighter is able to grow in size to two football fields ...
In general, any expert understands that if you increase the black dot from the AFRICOM satellite image to a cloudy shadow with something sticking out, then this, of course, is the P-18 Terek ... There’s nothing to say - everything’s obvious ... And it’s not Bellingcat yet. Well, the same one that can have two suns on the evidence photo and which can identify the identity of any rocket according to the mood of Facebook commentators, but cannot do this according to the rocket number shown directly on the frames of the investigation team.

Passion through the pipe
Ukraine accused the Russian company Gazprom of starting to dismantle the pipes of a gas pipeline designed to transit Russian gas through Ukrainian territory.
Experts comment on the statement on the dismantling by Russia of pipes for gas transit through Ukraine
The Ukrainian expert, apparently, watched the dismantling with binoculars. Well, the scream rose. True, we have to admit that the cry rises in this regard in any case. Pump gas - badly - we will buy from a free and democratic Europe. Do not pump gas - bad again. Oaths ... oaths ... cutting pipes ...
Such passions.
Now they claim that it was allegedly Russia who refused to sell gas to Europe on the Ukrainian border. Well, if in Kiev it’s easier to perceive the refusal of Europeans, so be it. It was Brussels who refused, realizing that in this situation gas through Ukraine may not reach European consumers in contracted volumes - it will “be lost” inadvertently in the pipe, for example, if it conflicts with the laws of physics, it will be teleported to Ukrainian underground storage facilities.

The first of these, the Soyuz, has a length of 2750 km, 1568 km of which pass through Ukraine.
The second - "Brotherhood" - is the longest. The path from Urengoy to Pomary and from there to Uzhgorod is 4451 km.
The length of the third of the worthy of separate mention gas pipelines - the Trans-Balkan - is "only" 950 km. It is the Shebelinka-Krivoy Rog-Izmail II route that Gazprom uses to export blue fuel to Turkey and Romania.
In total, our gas travels 3678 km across Ukraine before reaching European countries.
Inputs and outputs: operation "protection against Russians"
“It turns out they were protecting us from Russia”: in Germany they comment on Trump’s decision to partially withdraw troops
You see how ungrateful this Germany really is. She, you know, has been protecting and protecting her for more than 70 years, and she is even greedy to transfer 2 percent of GDP to the NATO capsule. Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia are another matter entirely. The American administration, of course, would have defended it with tripled strength by American soldiers, but there is one problem ... Budgets ... With the Merkel closet, Pan Duda's pantry, not to mention the Baltic chests, can not be compared. A few regiments can pull, but nothing more. Otherwise, even more plumbers will have to be sent to Belgium and Britain from among the citizens in order to cover the requests of American guardians of the Baltic sovereignty with money transfers.
True, Trump himself has not yet decided how much exactly and where exactly to withdraw, so that it would not be particularly noticeable to introduce. Therefore, especially those who are afraid of the Russian threat to German citizens - well, those who have absolutely no threat in the neighborhood on the street - Afghan, Libyan, Turkish and Somali friends, can be calm. For the time being they are under the reliable protection of the star-striped flag. The main thing is that they did not forget to pay on time.

99% of Germans approved the German invasion of the USSR in June 1941 - this is a fact.

An additional subsection of "Results" - "Not surprised." In this section today - Vladimir Putin did not rule out the possibility of running for a new presidential term.

I weighed two things.
1) the amendments to the Constitution themselves. Many are very necessary.
I like the ban on dual citizenship for officials and the ban on cash accounts abroad.
I support the priority of Russian law over international, even through a constitutional court.
2) I observed almost the entire quarantine of the angry statements of a number of fellow citizens, turning into hysteria. They are based on the following points:
- amendments are being made to nullify Putin’s presidential terms.
- it is necessary to prohibit / boycott the vote because the people decide nothing / the government falsifies everything.
I have weighed everything. Opponents of the vote for amendments criticize only one amendment - about zeroing the deadlines. About the others - they say almost nothing.
Opponents of the amendments are not confident in the people. For me, this last thing is to not be sure of the ability of our people to reason and think freely.
Our people remember the waste of Perestroika-Catastrophe, the "dashing nineties", and the permanent financial crisis. By the way, under Putin there is no such inflation as in the 90s. Let me remind you this too.
Therefore - I’ll go to vote. And I will say yes to the amendments.
And that's why I support the amendments. I do not want a repeat of either 1917 or 1991.
Russia needs a quiet development.
