Ukrainian military spoke about the development of the American clone RPG-7

83

The National Guard of Ukraine conducts classes in firing from the American grenade launcher PSRL-1. The actions of the Ukrainian National Guard are controlled and corrected by experienced instructors. The fighters master the skills of shooting at various targets.

We occupy the firing line, work on two goals. When they have already fired at the grenade launcher, we run back behind cover. Then “modify” 10 rounds (grenades) on the enemy,

- says the grenade launcher of military unit 3017 Viktor Bondarenko.

In the photographs from the official page of the National Guard of Ukraine, we see how the military are honing the art of firing from American grenade launchers.

The Ukrainian military noted the "ease of operation" of a US-made grenade launcher.

But the National Guard are acting because of the shelter ...

Recall that the supply of hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers PSRL-1 from the United States to Ukraine began in 2018. Then the National Guard received 500 American grenade launchers, after which the State Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs developed a special training manual for dealing with the new weapons.

Experts call the PSRL-1 grenade launcher an updated American clone of the Soviet RPG-7. It is manufactured by AirTronic. The aiming range of the grenade launcher is 800 meters, the barrel resource is designed for a thousand shots.

At the same time, the PSRL is compatible with all existing RPG shots, which greatly simplifies its use by the Ukrainian National Guard.

. The aiming range of the grenade launcher is 800 meters, the barrel resource is designed for a thousand shots.

Well, they have surpassed it, what can we say. Our "seven" has a barrel resource ranging from 300 (RPG-7 / 7V) to 250, and the aiming range, emnip, somewhere in the 200-500 meters maximum, is certainly not 800.

    Logical choice.
The modern version of the famous RPG-7
It’s easier, the resource is longer, stronger, the sight is different, the effective range has grown to 1200 m, it’s more convenient, it can be disassembled into 2 parts for convenience.
And in the ancestors the same RPG.
It is not produced in Ukraine, the Soviet one is at least 30 years old.

Of course, it also depends on the grenade, but not only.

They write that 800 meters with a probability of defeat of 90 percent.

Experts call the PSRL-1 grenade launcher an updated American clone of the Soviet RPG-7. It is manufactured by AirTronic.

Americans at the request of the Pentagon built a plant that produces Soviet weapons: RPG, SVD, PC. According to the official version, so as not to retrain the locals.
The following conclusion can be drawn from this:
    1. The US plans to continue to supply clones of Soviet weapons to various militants in territories adjacent to Russia.
    2. Soviet weapons are much better, cheaper and more efficient than American ones.
    3. They do not count on victory in all these conflicts. Otherwise, they would be armed with American weapons with the aim of making an advertisement for themselves and their weapons after the victory.
Although, in principle, given that they abandon their small arms and partially switch to German, and develop new ones, advertising will not save them.

As for the American RPGs, they themselves purchase it all more from other countries. Where it then falls into is not known. Maybe the Americans themselves use it.
About 10 years ago, Azerbaijan set the task of displacing (partially) Bulgaria in terms of the supply of grenade launchers, machine guns, and certain types of ammunition to the United States. We have built factories, exclusively on Swiss equipment for the production of all this, as well as "RPQ 7 Qaya". After the first deliveries, the Americans were convinced that ours was superior in quality to the Bulgarian counterparts. Since then, these weapons have been sold to the United States in large quantities, but why would the Americans, if even Ukraine, are being sent deshman versions even without an optical sight?

Here they are, even special forces use it. Shoots 8 types of ammunition.

Recall that the supply of hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers PSRL-1 from the United States to Ukraine began in 2018.

They appeared even earlier in the "Dung", why Dung flew over a hat, that they were posing with them in front of the cameras - because officially the United States did not supply weapons to the belligerent country at that time wink

Ukrainian military spoke about the development of the American clone RPG-7
Well, it’s clear, plastic and smooth, it’s nice on the cheek and warm, the handles are comfortable.
barrel resource is designed for a thousand shots.
fool it is necessary for 1 000 000. The life of a grenade launcher long and happy begins only after 2 000 tanks.

In general, here the skakuas can be congratulated: the bandits (APU) received convenient and reliable RPG-7s, and regular thieves have mastered a lot of money in dohlopreziki. (The price of this RPG-7 clone is 4-5 times higher than the original). At the same time, the "politicians" proudly reported that they once again licked the owner where it should be.

The resource of the barrel? At the launcher? Does the rifling fly off or is the plastic of the barrel breaking?

By virtue of their history, pathetic Americans always choose a side with a lower level of development. Therefore, when Amers try to sell more high-tech weapons to the Aborigines, the Aborigines immediately resell directly from the warehouses to the opposing side, as they simply are not able to cope with this most high-tech weapons. Therefore, the amers had to make the simplest weapons, which they supply to countries such as Congo, Ukraine and Papua New Guinea.
