In the Northern Fleet will be large-scale exercises with the participation of the aircraft carrier “Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Kuznetsov”

In the next two months, a very rich program of combat training awaits the North Sea sailors, commander of the North fleet Vice Admiral Vladimir Korolev.

“The surface combat forces, nuclear and diesel submarines, marine aviation and coastal forces of the Northern Fleet, ”the fleet commander specified. - We have to perform a series of combat exercises using practical weapons, including rocket launches and artillery firing. "

It is planned that as early as August a heavy aircraft-carrying cruiser (TAVKR) “Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Kuznetsov” will be launched in order to complete the planned tasks of combat training in the Barents Sea. With his release to the sea, the deck pilots of the Northern Fleet will begin to hone their flight skills using the deck of an aircraft carrier.

At about the same time, Peter the Great, a heavy nuclear missile cruiser (TARKR), will be launched into the training grounds of the Northern Fleet, the crew of which will start working out and passing coursework tasks.

TAVKR "Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Kuznetsov" is today the only aircraft carrier of the Russian Navy. In February of this year, he made the sixth long hike in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

TARKR "Peter the Great" is also the only in the composition of the Russian Navy surface nuclear cruiser. He is known for his long-distance trips to the Caribbean, the round-the-world transition made in 2009, the transition to the Pacific Fleet and his participation in the Vostok-2010 strategic command and staff exercise.

Both cruisers are part of the rocket ships of the Northern Fleet.

MiG-29 successfully landed on the deck of the Russian-Indian aircraft carrier
The MiG-29KUB shipborne fighter, intended for delivery to India, made the first landing on the deck of the Admiral Gorshkov heavy aircraft carrier on Saturday. The aircraft carrier named Vikramaditya is ready to become the flagship of the Indian fleet after deep modernization.

"The crew of the Hero of Russia, Honored Test Pilot Colonel Nikolai Diorditsa and Test Pilot of the MiG Corporation Mikhail Belyaev, successfully landed on the deck of the aircraft carrier Admiral Gorshkov," a source in the military-industrial complex told Interfax.

Before landing, the pilots made several approaches over the ship at different heights, making touches of the deck of an aircraft carrier.

The teachings, and with the teachings of the nuclear submarines, are useful, but they would not forget to clear the place of enemy submarines.

Well, sort of like from helicopters - they have not yet come up with protection for the nuclear submarines.

And why should Norway be nervous - with Russia relations "on the ointment", and Novegia in NATO - why should they strain.

Yes, let them squeal. But the power of mother Russia to demonstrate and build up is very useful, especially in our not calm time.

not quite so, there are enough problems in relations, fishing, oil and gas production. We are direct competitors in the region.

The fact that competitors is understandable (after all, the border is common, and even more so at sea). I concluded on the basis that recently there is no information about strained relations, and even more so - about some kind of "collision".

It is negligible for the largest country in the world, but with something you need to start and continue. Seven feet to sailors!

We must go forward, the means allow.
But some Western countries are beginning to rot.
The Spanish army tightens their belts:

      - Marine exercises are limited to 40 days a year.
      - It was decided to use only 40 percent of the aircraft’s passenger transport of the total.
      - Now the Spanish military has 35 rounds of ammunition per year (in 10 years they have reduced from 800). With the exception of members of military missions abroad.
      - To save electricity in the barracks, a norm of at least 26 degrees was introduced when air conditioners work.
      - In winter, heating in the barracks will be switched on twice a day for certain periods.
      - In the corridors of military facilities, only light fire signs should be turned on, and the requirement was approved to turn off the lights in the cabinets when no one was in them.
      - In the administrative units should turn off electrical appliances, office equipment, while it is not used.
      - The number of business trips for officers has been drastically reduced. If there is no need for physical presence, it is necessary to use communication through a “video conference”.
      - The form is replaced every 2 years. Proper maintenance is reduced to 20 euros.
      - During the celebrations and receptions (for example, on the Day of the Armed Forces of Spain), it was decided to replace Spanish traditional wines with cheaper analogues, as well as reduce the number of dishes.

The news is, of course, good. Only now "Kuzma" from TAVKR has long been transformed into a self-propelled aircraft carrier barge. Moreover, not of the best quality. "Granites" are no longer there. Without catapults, the time of "throwing out" all aircraft from the deck is twice as long as that of amers with their catapults. You hear what about the Russian "Hawkeye"?

And what is there to modernize and in what direction? Place catpults, come up with our answer "Hawkeye", strengthen the air defense / missile defense component. That is, in essence, build a new ship.
