How Gorbachev ruined the USSR

How Gorbachev ruined the USSR

Mikhail Gorbachev and Ronald Reagan. Switzerland. 1985 year

The catastrophe of Gorbachev. The question is why Gorbachev and his team were allowed by their actions to first destabilize the USSR and then destroy it. Why the “perestroika” was not stopped. Khrushchev was stopped, they were not allowed to destroy the Union, but there was no “better German”. Although Mikhail Sergeyevich will be weaker than Nikita Sergeyevich.

Complete decomposition of the Soviet elite

The point is the complete decomposition of the late Soviet elite. By this moment, a significant part of the Soviet elite had degraded so much that they simply did not realize the consequences of “perestroika”. And when the collapse began, it was too late. On the other hand, it is obvious that part of the elite already deliberately set about the collapse and privatization of the wreckage of the Soviet Union. She wanted to become part of the global elite, the "masters of life", to seize the people's property, wealth, the main sources of income and "live beautifully." Do not hide, do not disguise yourself as communists. Beautiful cars, yachts, planes, women, gold and precious stones. Elite housing in leading countries and capitals of the world.

It was an outright betrayal of power and people. The Soviet elite, which was not regularly updated after Stalin’s departure, didn’t “clean”, gradually forgotten the basics of conscious cultivation of the national elite by the Gorbachev period. The part became passive and simply looked at the destruction of the superpower. Another part was actively involved in pulling the Union along national corners. It became the "enemies of the people", the "fifth column", which the West joyfully supported. I gave out many compliments, orders, awards, and more. As a result, the top of the USSR surrendered the country for “a barrel of jam and a whole basket of cookies”.

The part of the Soviet elite that could have resisted the destruction of the state was "cleaned up" under Andropov and Gorbachev. First of all, the cleaning concerned the power structures responsible for the security of the state. In particular, in 1987, the flight of the German amateur pilot Matthias Rust was used, who flew in a light-engine aircraft from Hamburg through Reykjavik and Helsinki to Moscow. Soviet air defense troops drove Rust's “Cessna” to Moscow and did not stop the flight, because after the incident with the South Korean airliner in 1983, civilian planes were ordered not to shoot down. In the Soviet media, this incident was described as a failure of the air defense system and the country's defense in general. Gorbachev's team used the situation to clean up almost the entire leadership of the USSR Armed Forces, including the commanders of military districts. In particular, Minister of Defense Sergey Sokolov and Air Defense Commander Alexander Koldunov were dismissed. They were political opponents of Gorbachev’s course. New “siloviki” were selected from supporters of “perestroika”.

Thus, the supporters of the “Andropov plan” ("Andropov's Plan" as part of a strategy for the destruction of Russian civilization; Part 2) during the Gorbachev period they decided that it was impossible to save the country. Therefore, the main efforts should be directed not at preserving and saving the Union, but at preserving oneself, at transferring the most important resources (such as “party gold”) to one’s own network. For this, the plunder of their own country was allowed. So the elite of marauders was born. From that moment, the salvation of the USSR-Russia in the form of pro-Western modernization (modeled after Peter the Great) ceased to be the goal of the Andropovites. The collapse and cut of Soviet civilization, controlled from above, began to dismantle the main institutions and privatize the main assets. The crisis of the USSR and the ensuing catastrophe (operation "ends in the water") hid this process and its scope from the people. They allowed to carry out the collapse of the red empire unnoticed, prevented the possible organized resistance of the people from whom the future was stolen. They allowed to take huge finances and capitals from the state and national economy.

National separatism

Nationalism became a powerful "battering ram" with the help of which the Soviet Union began to bring down. Already under Khrushchev, Stalin's thoughtful national policies were destroyed. The cultivation of national elites and intelligentsia began, in the ranks of which Russophobia took root and anti-Sovietism matured. National republics were funded and developed to the detriment of the Russian provinces and the Russian people. At the same time, national myths were formed where the culprit of all troubles were Russians (Russia-USSR).

In particular, the Ukrainian myth of the separate Ukrainian people and the Ukrainian language continued to develop and strengthen (Ukrainian Chimera vs. Svetlaya Rus; The purpose of the project "Ukraine") Although there were no “Ukrainians” before the 1917 revolution, there was a southwestern part of the Russian superethnos (Rus). There was a dialect dialect of a single Russian language. Existed historical the region of Little Russia-Russia (Little Russia) as the "outskirts-Ukraine" of a unified Russian civilization. The USSR created an artificial Ukrainian people and language. Formed the Ukrainian "elite", which, in fact, was the heir to the ideas of Mazepa, Petliurites and Bandera.

Gorbachev's team began a wave of nationalism in the USSR with provocation. In December 1986, the Secretary General of the Central Committee of the CPSU dismissed the first secretary of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan, Dinmukhamed Kunaev (he held this post in 1960-1962 and 1964-1986), who became a real Kazakh khan and formed a powerful regional nationalist elite. Gennady Kolbin, a Russian by nationality, the first secretary of the Ulyanovsk regional party committee, who had never worked in Kazakhstan, was appointed in his place. It seemed that the step was right. But in the conditions of “perestroika” and destabilization of the whole system, this was a real provocation. The local elite responded with the December Uprising (Zheltoksan). Riots and pogroms began with the demand to appoint the “indigenous” first secretary of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan. To suppress the riot, it was necessary to form 50 thousand. troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense. As a result, the unrest was suppressed with little blood. However, these events were a signal to other national elites. In Kazakhstan itself, in 1989, Kolbina was succeeded by Nazarbayev. They immediately forgot about “Kazakh nationalism”.

This event was the first in a chain of similar. The December uprising did not receive a proper political, legal and national assessment. Its root causes were not identified - a violation of Stalin’s popular socialism policy. National republics, starting with Khrushchev, developed at the expense of Central Russia. Ethnic republics and autonomies received preferences, benefits due to the containment of the development of the Russian people. The result was unpleasant distortions in the development of national suburbs and Russian regions. National elites and intelligentsia were arrogant, decided that they could flourish without Russians. Although, as history has shown, nationalism has led the current Baltic States, Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia to extinction and a broken trough. A similar situation is in Central Asia: archaization; social injustice; the growth of radical sentiments, including nationalism and Islamism; degradation of industrial, social infrastructure, science, education and health.

Treason of power

Events in Kazakhstan were regarded in the ethnic suburbs as the weakness of Moscow. A nationalist wave is rising. Already in the summer of 1987, Yerevan raised the issue of transferring the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region to the Armenian SSR. In response, pogroms of Armenians on Azerbaijani territory began. There was already a lot of blood. Gorbachev was confused.

It is worth noting that Moscow at that time still had enough forces and resources to suppress any nationalist rebellion and riot in ethnic republics. Given the political will and the program to eradicate the mistakes of national politics from Lenin to Gorbachev, it was possible to restore order in the country with relatively little blood, clean up the national separatists, and preserve the unity of the Soviet empire. The example of China, which faced a similar problem in Tibet, and then with the unrest in the capital (the events on Tiananmen Square in 1989), is very revealing.

However, part of the Soviet elite consciously led to the destruction of the USSR. And the cowardly chatterbox Gorbachev was afraid to shed a little blood and restore order in the country to stop the destruction process. This subsequently caused blood flows (including the extinction of indigenous peoples in most of the former USSR).

Gorbachev was panicky afraid of the use of force and restrained the "siloviks" in putting things in order. At the same time, the secretary general recanted responsibility until the last, when law enforcement agencies themselves put things in order on the territory under their jurisdiction. In fact, he “surrendered” and finally demoralized the organs of order and security. Gorbachev loses control threads, the ability to soberly assess the situation. At critical moments, he jumps into the bushes - he escapes to overseas trips, where he is enthusiastically greeted and loved, or goes on vacation. He believes that the "process has begun", that is, the course towards democratization and publicity is correct. Gorbachev practically does not listen to sober assessments still coming from party and state structures and institutions. He is talking about the destroyers - A. N. Yakovlev and E. A. Shevardnadze, the "Gorbachev Political Bureau" aimed at destroying Soviet civilization.

This led to an increase in nationalist sentiments, massacres and conflicts. Azerbaijanis fled from Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenians from Azerbaijan. Bloody interethnic conflicts flared up in all national suburbs. Transnistria, the Ferghana Valley, Abkhazia, Georgia, the Baltic states, etc. The Soviet power cracked at the seams. In ethno-republics, national fronts and parties are created by universally interested forces, they demand an exit from the USSR. The West enthusiastically welcomes these events, strongly supports the "young democrats", forbids Moscow to use force, fears sanctions.

Thus, the Gorbachev team committed a terrible crime against the peoples of the USSR-Russia. Under Gorbachev, they opened the "Pandora's Box", released the terrible spirit of national separatism, which destroyed the great power and split the Soviet people. This nationalism shed rivers of blood, brought and still will bring a lot of suffering and loss to the peoples of the former USSR. Gorbachev ruined Soviet statehood and became an “enemy of the people."

Stalin is good. Khrushchev is falling apart. then I don’t remember about the good ones. and Gorbachev is falling apart again. and the country for all this circus turned 70 years old. The question is, what is wrong with her? Why is there so many bad people in a country that is the most advanced and so on? and for some reason all are in power? Is the system bad or people?

      After the death of Stalin,
      1. The idea of socialism was canned and turned into a dogma that was repeated as a mantra and in the end it blew the majority, but in fact people saw that those who say this themselves are far from these ideals.

Stalin was an intelligent man and theorist of Marxism, therefore, apparently felt like this:

“Our cadres need to have a good knowledge of Marxist economic theory.

The first, older generation of the Bolsheviks was theoretically savvy. We crammed Capital, outlined, argued, checked each other. That was our strength. It helped us a lot.

The second generation is less prepared. People were busy with practical work, construction. Marxism was studied through brochures.

The third generation is brought up on feuilleton and newspaper articles. They do not have deep knowledge. They need to be given food that is digestible. Most of them were brought up not on the study of the works of Marx and Lenin, but on citations.

If things go on like this, then people can degenerate. In America they argue: everything is decided by the dollar, why do we need a theory, why science? And in our country they can reason like this: why do we need “Capital” when we are building socialism. It threatens degradation, it is death. To avoid this even in particulars, it is necessary to raise the level of economic knowledge. ”

      2. After Stalin, the basis of our country of the Soviet Union (you can already see from the name) advice, ie organs of direct democracy were moved away from real levers of control. The party nomenclature became isolated in itself and began to degenerate into frank bourgeoisie, and by 85 it had completely decomposed and betrayed the ideals of socialism.

      3. Khrushchev's experiments in the economy cost the country dearly (the destruction of promising villages, mts, cut off any private initiative). About the debunking of the personality cult, I am generally silent; this is a clear undermining of ideology, like we didn’t do it that way, it doesn’t remind us of anything, with perestroika we went the wrong way for 70 years and so on.

What kind of nonsense are you talking about, you can say a lot about his Wishlist. But the main thing is that he did not do this, and this is a fact, with him about 5 million people from hunger, all thanks to the Bolsheviks, and in particular to Stalin, who killed his own collective farms, and returned serfdom as such, and not many people know that after the abolition of the serf by Nikolai, the peasants became merchants of the first guild on their own, even before the payment to the landlord was canceled. As a result, people took away land, food, and deprived of the incentive to work, because apart from workdays, he had nothing.

Khrushchev, or a recruited traitor .. Felts are just a man of little mind ..

Traitor! In the USSR, in general, everything was very bad with the traitors.

As soon as Lenin died, it turned out that the second person in the party, Comrade Trotsky, was a traitor. Kamenev, Zinoviev, Bukharin and Stalin overthrew Trotsky and expelled from the USSR.

But after a couple of years it turned out that Kamenev, Zinoviev and Bukharin are also enemies and pests. Then the valiant comrade Heinrich Yagoda shot them.

A little later, Yezhov shot Yagoda as an enemy agent. But after a couple of years it turned out that Yezhov was not a comrade, but an ordinary traitor and an enemy agent. And Yezhov shot Beria

After the death of Stalin, everyone realized that Beria was also a traitor. Then Zhukov overthrew and shot Beria.

But soon Khrushchev learned that Zhukov was an enemy and a conspirator. And he sent Zhukov to the Urals.

And a little later it was revealed that Stalin was an enemy, a pest and a traitor. And with it, and most of the Politburo. Then Stalin was taken out of the mausoleum, and the political bureau and Shepilov, who joined them, were dispersed by honest party members led by Khrushchev

Several years passed and it turned out that Khrushchev was a voluntarist, a rogue, an adventurer and an enemy. Then Brezhnev sent Khrushchev to retire.

Soon Brezhnev died, and it turned out that he was a senile, a pest and a cause of stagnation

Then there were two more senility, which no one had time to remember, because they died like flies.

But then a young, energetic Gorbachev came to power. And it turned out that the whole party was a party of pests and enemies, but now he’ll fix everything right now.

It was then that the USSR collapsed. And Gorbachev turned out to be an enemy and a traitor.

You are confusing public consciousness with mentality. The mentality is the number of smart, highly educated people. And public consciousness is the level of an average person, a system of values common for a housewife and a candidate of sciences - the concept of family, duty, conscience, homeland, etc. ... The root cause of the collapse of the USSR is the destruction of the support of deep layers of public consciousness, namely: the chastity inherent in Soviet people - remember AIDS info, "little Vera" ... trust in the Party, it was destroyed, for example, by the simultaneous abolition of the state monopoly on alcohol and the "fight against alcoholism." Throwing mud at the Soviet past, in the era of "scarcity" suddenly, out of nowhere, volumes of Solzhenitsyn appeared in huge print runs ... By the way, J. Matlock (Ambassador to the USSR) admits in his book "The Fall of the Empire" that they sponsored the Books of Solzhenitsyn
        - therefore, I consider the root cause of the collapse of the USSR to be the activities of foreign intelligence services in the highest places.

As soon as labeled came to power, it was literally a few months later, and they were silent about it, people of all other nationalities began to leave the Baltic countries. These were mainly Russians and Ukrainians. There began to lead the children of those and those who were hiding in the woods and bunkers. In Moldova, vineyards and orchards began to be cut down. In the Caucasus, nothing could be done without giving a bribe. The leaders of the car depots and others believed that these enterprises belong to them. If you want a good bus, or a truck, give a bribe. If you want a normal tram, or a trolleybus - give a bribe. They didn’t understand then that if this is the only way, then it makes no sense to repair what I’m going on. In the same way thousands of automobile enterprises in Ukraine in Russia and other republics were collapsed. In 1990, factories and factories began to be robbed, scrap metal reception centers appeared. There were also those that destroyed the factories for the production of metalworking machines. And instead of producing, they began to steal and trade. And this is the merit of Mechny and Yeltsin. They later declared themselves to be affected by the Soviet regime. In general, everything went as if Hitler had occupied a country called the USSR.

The part of the Soviet elite that could have resisted the destruction of the state was "cleaned up" under Andropov and Gorbachev.

Gorbachev practically does not listen to sober assessments still coming from party and state structures and institutions. He is talking about the destroyers - A. N. Yakovlev and E. A. Shevardnadze, the "Gorbachev Political Bureau" aimed at destroying Soviet civilization.

He spoke, conjured the audience with lengthy opuses without a single grain of meaning. And the party crowd assented him for the same reason, warmed up by chewing gum and promises to pour them into the world fucking fraternity for no reason, from dirt to parasites. Kravchuk alone is worth a typical example, the talker is stupid. The party quickly decomposed after the war. Everyone is right in this, there was no experience in ancient Rus. Now she got it. Gorbachev did not want the collapse of the USSR. Why would he want when he is the president himself? But he did not hold on to power. Allowed weakness and did not deal with the opposition. And the winner, Yeltsin, did not take his place, but instead tore Russia away from the USSR, thereby pulling the "union-forming" republic out of the USSR. So, then the USSR was destroyed. And if Gorbachev had retained power (about how - a topic for a separate discussion), perhaps the USSR would have followed the Chinese path.

Secretary General of the CPSU Central Committee, President of the USSR - two almighty posts in one person. He could tighten the nuts so that no one would pick. Shoot, plant all opponents in power. But he did not. Because a person is mild by nature or has not calculated the consequences. He is not, of course. But he did not calculate how all his concessions would end in a country that was always controlled tightly. but again: he did not want the collapse of the USSR. He launched processes that he could no longer control. By softness or nearness - let historians appreciate it.

The American president is a much weaker figure in the sense of power compared to the omnipotent Soviet general secretaries. But Khrushchev did steal quite a bit (11 years?), Until Brezhnev moved him. Through his policies, he led the country first to economic, and then to political collapse. It is noteworthy that he does not live in Moscow or in the Stavropol Territory, but in Germany. Because no one needs him here. He became the "best German", the best friend of the West, but for the majority of the population of our Motherland, his name is associated mainly only with innumerable troubles and irrecoverable losses. The CPSU with all its "militant", ideological and "production" units turned out to be out of control. There was no one to resist her. At stake was the main question of every revolution and counter-revolution - the question of property, which, of course, determined the irreversibility of the country's death, since property, all plants, factories, research institutes, design bureaus, warehouses, mob resources, etc. were in the hands of the top of the CPSU. Overnight, she no longer needed those borders that were conquered and recaptured at the cost of the lives of millions of Soviet people. And the usual "tishka-tear" began ...
There was no other force that could save the country and people from collapse. The people themselves were impudently deceived with empty promises. This collapse, apparently, was deliberately prepared throughout the 1980s. All forces worked precisely for the collapse, and not for the preservation of the USSR and the unity of the people. Uncle Gorby was put only as a screen; in his moral and strong-willed qualities he was very suitable for this role. Of course, other "decorations" were also used.
Most importantly, under no circumstances should such a scenario be allowed to occur today or in the future!

In Stavropol, Nordman had one delicate assignment from the KGB deputy chairman for personnel Perepelitsyn, who had previously led the Belarusian security officers. Perepelitsyn asked Nordman to look among the local party workers for a man who could be made the head of the regional department of state security. Listed the criteria:

Secretary of the Regional Committee for Personnel Nikolai Lyzhin advised Nordman:

The question is why Gorbachev and his team were allowed by their actions to first destabilize the USSR and then destroy it.

    Another "deep thought" Samsnova.

Skew in the military-industrial complex ditched the USSR, the share in the aggregate public product at the end of the 1980s amounted to 68% - these are net expenses + expenses for the maintenance of enterprises that do not bring profit and consume raw materials.
That is, for the production of means of production and military equipment for the production of consumer goods): in the second half of the 80s, their ratio was 75,3% to 24,7% of the economy of the Soviet Union.

Only 24.7% of the USSR industry was profitable — products for which they could pay, which they could eat or use.
Of course, some of the military products were exported, but a significant part was not paid for in money (barter) or borrowed for political reasons.

The USSR was forced to sell more fuel and electricity, covering the shortage of grain from revenues.

Pay attention to the growth of grain imports and becoming dependent on imports by the time of the collapse of the USSR.

In fact, the impetus for the collapse of the USSR was the inability to reproduce enough grain to ensure food security.

    Import of grain.

Why did grain export go to grain import?
The average annual gross grain harvest in the USSR increased from 121,5 million tons in 1956 - 1960. up to 196,6 million tons in 1986 - 1990 But the consumption structure has changed - the consumption of meat and dairy products has increased. As a result, meat production in the country increased during the period 1960 - 1990. from 8,7 million tons (in slaughter weight) to 20,1 million tons. In order to feed cattle, grain (feed) was required - mainly grain went to it.
According to the article: Gumerov R.R. Russian grain exports: do not repeat the mistakes of the past.

What was imported was mainly not feed grain, but wheat not lower than the third class.
Most of it is wheat, that is, not feed grain. The next largest is corn. Part of the imported corn is edible corn in grains.

When export revenues became lower than import costs (and the USSR could no longer do without grain imports, including from the USA), the USSR went bankrupt.

The counterrevolutionary coup in 1991 was not carried out by the Stavropol combine operator - henpecked Gorbachev, but by the CPSU party apparatus with the support of the military leadership, state and economic assets of the USSR with the goal of converting power into private property.

I understand that my comment will not like it. BUT. After the royal family was brutally destroyed, with the connivance of our peoples, such catastrophes fell upon us all, which world history has not yet known. Until there is true repentance, we will have confusion and impostors. Although I personally liked Brezhnev's time. People were kinder and somehow we were proud of both the country and ourselves. Although, maybe because this time has come in my childhood. Yes, and while we are here breaking verbal spears, "normal guys do normal things."
“Gold bars weighing one ton have been exported from Moscow to London, REN TV reports.
The valuable cargo took off from Sheremetyevo Airport in the cargo hold of an aircraft on flight SU2580.
According to the newspaper, the total cost of the cargo is over 2,3 billion rubles. Gold belongs to an individual.
The export of gold bars became known thanks to an incident that occurred during loading. The loaders lost a container with two metal ingots weighing 25,5 kg and worth almost 58 million rubles. Presumably, the ingots fell out of the cargo cart by accident. "

Gorbachev simply finished off ... the corpse of the USSR ...., Soviet power was abolished in the USSR in 1936, and replaced by partocracy, the famous 6th article of the constitution ..., the party made Stalin ..., Khrushchev ruined the remains of the Soviet non-state economy , which Stalin so hoped for ..., not without reason, but the party mass triumphed, accusing Lenin of laying the mines of separatism is stupid, Stalin could not fix anything .. The circle closed ..., the arrival of crime to power in 1917 ended crime victory in 1993 The CPSU is guilty ...., but it can be understood ..., the nomenclature owned everything, everything was according to Marx ...., and the people and the country were inevitable losses. The author is poorly aware of the real role of party bodies in criminalizing the country's mafia ..., Gorbi is a cherry on the cake ... everything was sold to us.

It was necessary at the time to solve the national question as VI Lenin taught and not to push everyone into one national collective farm as another mustachioed comrade did. Then the Union would not be based on the evil force of fear but on the free will of the consciousness of the masses, since the rights and the freedoms of all the peoples inhabiting the Union and without any socialization, everyone would understand that in friendship and good neighborliness it is better to live than to quarrel endlessly

Dear author. I do not agree with you about the reasons for the collapse of the USSR.
You write; “The point is the complete disintegration of the late Soviet elite. By this time, a significant part of the Soviet elite had degraded so much that they simply did not realize the consequences of“ perestroika. ”And when the collapse began, it was already too late. On the other hand, it is obvious that part of the top was already consciously put on the collapse and privatization of the wreckage of the Soviet Union. She wanted to become part of the global elite, "masters of life", seize people's property, wealth, main sources of income and "live beautifully." Not hide, not disguise themselves as communists. Beautiful cars, yachts, airplanes , women, gold and precious stones. Elite housing in the leading countries and capitals of the world. "
But did the party elite live in barracks under Lenin? Or ate a quinoa? Maybe she walked in bast shoes? How she lived, you can go to Gorki and see how Lenin lived. Dzerzhinsky went to Switzerland for treatment, under the Soviet regime, for example. You can find out how the other leaders of the USSR lived under Lenin. You can see what the leaders of Soviet Russia traveled during the civil war and after it, and what they ate. The Bolsheviks did not come to power so that the milkmaid would rule the state. Among them there was not a single true peasant in a peasant country. They even established in their first constitutions that 1 deputy from 25 thousand inhabitants of the city and 1 from 125 thousand inhabitants of the village were elected to the Soviets. And this is in a country where over 80% of the population was peasants.
Lenin's national policy and its state structure, by the way, were against this policy and such a state structure, at one time were Stalin and Dzerzhinsky. Dzerzhinsky warned that the creation of national republics would lead to the growth of nationalism and interethnic conflicts. What happened later. And as one of Lenin's supporters said: "... Russians are manure, on the basis of which other nationalities will grow ..". It is understandable why Lenin and Trotsky were concerned about the creation of the Ukrainian SSR and the BSSR. That is what the communist comrades have done, and now we have what Dzerzhinsky, Stalin, Ordzhonikidze warned about. This led to the collapse of the USSR. Read Lenin's works carefully; "On the question of nationalities or autonomization", "On the national pride of the Great Russians". Only works, and not a summary and comments of the ideologues of Leninism. The collapse occurred due to the erroneous state structure and national policy.
