Indian Marshal describes the situation when the Pakistan army would become a target for the Indian Air Force

10

Former Indian Air Force commander Birender Singh Dhanoa gave a great interview to the Indian media. One part of this interview was dedicated to the attacks on the Balakot (Pakistan), where, according to New Delhi, there was a base of terrorists who had previously carried out an attack against Indian police. Recall that after the airstrike there was an air battle, the result of which was the loss of the Indian Air Force MiG-21 aircraft and the capture of the pilot Abhinandan Warthaman. On the same day, India lost a helicopter.

According to Marshal aviation Dhanoa, if the Pakistani Air Force hit at least one of the military targets in India on February 27, then India could attack any objects of the Pakistan army.

Birender Dhanoa:

The Pakistan army would be our target, and our attack would be completely legal. I repeat once again: we would have hit the Pakistani army if on February 27 their Air Force had hit at least one of our targets.

The Indian media found out that the Indian Air Force had plans to strike at Pakistani brigades, and not just at targets along the contact line in Kashmir.

Recall that the Pakistan Air Force tried to strike at military facilities in India in eastern Kashmir, using high-precision bombs for this. However, according to the Indian side, no damage was inflicted on the objects.

Air Marshal Dhanoa in his statement accused "the people who are responsible for delaying the modernization of Indian aviation." The former Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Air Force did not name specific names, but he made it clear that the authorities too delayed the procurement of new fighters for the needs of the country's air forces.

Dhanoa:

Everything would be completely different if our pilot Abhinandan (Varthaman) performed the task not on the MiG-21, but on the "Rafal". We would have a technological and military advantage. And we have been continuing negotiations for years, for almost 10 years we have been discussing which planes we need.

According to Dhanoa, if the Indian Air Force had “Rafali” 27 on February, then “Pakistan would have received a more tangible lesson.”

There is a wonderful saying - "After a fight, they don't wave their fists." Now we can talk about the fact that if they were, then we gave them so. Now, if we had a Rafali, if there was not an Indian in the cockpit, but a normal pilot.

It was just a test of strength. And the test showed that India is not ready for a large-scale conflict with Pakistan. And thank God that the conflict did not escalate and the next Indo-Pakistani war did not begin. India was lucky, because, taking advantage of the serious conflict between them, China could calmly chop off another piece of Indian territory. hi

And that is, it is, as it were, NOT ACCOUNTED.

With all due respect to the Marshal, but he wouldn’t make a decision on this, but he would simply carry out and carried out the decision of the political leadership, in this case not to respond

Former Air Force Commander of India Birender Singh Dhanoa The former may not say so, but the Sikh guys are harsh, according to rumors, and they can twitch without permission. And the commander who is waiting for an order to use weapons is not a commander, but an officer, in the original, English sense. Of course, if there is no order "Do not use weapons."

I don’t know, but once, after watching the plot, about the change of posts on the Indian-Pakistani border, the impression was that these were two huge roosters who started a battle around an atomic mine.
