
The anti-aircraft missile regiment from the ZVO completed re-equipment with the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system, having received another set of equipment. This was reported by the press service of the district.
The anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Air Defense Division of the Air Force and Air Defense Division of the Western Military District, deployed in the Leningrad Region, received the next set and completed the re-equipment of the Triumph S-400 anti-aircraft missile system

The press service clarifies that the receipt of equipment took place at the Kapustin Yar training ground in the Astrakhan region, where the anti-aircraft gunners of the regiment conducted live firing on the “Favorite” hypersonic targets, which are of increased complexity for air defense units. The C-400 air defense missile systems were trained at the training center for the training of anti-aircraft missile troops in Gatchina, Leningrad Region.
Currently, the regiment has returned to the location where the equipment is being prepared for taking up combat duty. According to the plans of the command, the new regiment will enter the cover of the airspace of the north-west of the country from February 20 2020 of the year.
SAM S-400 "Triumph" is designed to destroy strategic and tactical aircraft aviation, ballistic missiles, hypersonic targets and other means of air attack in the conditions of electronic and other types of counteraction.
