The Polish army began to receive modernized T-72M1 tanks

The Polish army received the first batch of modernized tanks T-72. As transmits "Warspot" with reference to defense24.pl, representatives of the Polish company BUMAR-ŁABĘDY transferred the first eight MBT T-72М1 to the troops.

Plans for the modernization of the Soviet T-72 tanks in service with the Polish army were announced in the 2017 year. At the same time, the Polish Ministry of Defense announced the launch of an analytical program to modernize obsolete tanks. Earlier, in the 2016 year, Poland intended to write off the remaining T-72 weapons, gradually replacing them with a new combat vehicle developed as part of the Gepard project. However, as it turned out, mass production of the new tank could not be launched earlier than 2026, and tanks were required "now." Therefore, it was decided to modernize the MBT T-72.

From 1979 to 1991, the 682 T-72 was produced in Poland in a year, a small part of them later underwent a deep modernization and received the name PT-91 Twardy, but most of the vehicles continue to operate in the basic version.

It is reported that during the modernization, Polish T-72 change engines and install a new launch system. The night vision devices of the driver and commander are installed. In addition, tanks receive new electronics, modern sights, navigation and digital communications. The exact number sent to upgrade the T-72 is not known, but according to unofficial information, we can talk about the order of 300 tanks. Completion is scheduled for 2025 year.

In addition to the MBT T-72 and RT-91, the Polish army is armed with a little more than 200 German tanks Leopard 2A4 and Leopard 2A5.

In Lemberg-Lvov, and so most of the local Maidan "patriotic (and for a long time with" Pole cards ") of Ukraine", they can't wait: "Well, when will we, with all our gamuz and with our station, go to Poland ?!" - do not hesitate to complain on the Web for this (annoying for all adequate and inadequate Ukrainian citizens!) delay of their mega-destructive Zapadnichina with the departure "to Europe", so they will not object to "de-occupation"!
For the "de-occupation of Lemberg", the Poles and police units will have enough - tanks, perhaps, are used as mobile checkpoints on key highways, but in very insignificant quantities!
The forces of Polish special forces are already located at the border and are still operating in a "peaceful regime" on the Polish and adjacent Ukrainian ones (legally instructors of the Yavoriv training ground and representatives of "observing missions of border interaction" and illegally ... the local situation and the mood of local residents are quite favorable to this !) territory!
The Polish authorities, after the "Euromaidan" coup in Kiev, created and trained armed volunteer national formations "to establish territorial order"!
All these "expeditionary" police forces in detail, with a visit "to the places", study "the sponsored areas of the Kres Vskhudnykh", "monitor the local situation" and are ready at any time to cross the Polish-Polish cordon so that, along with corruption or forcefulness, " the world of "units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ensuring civil order from looting, robberies and extremist manifestations, focusing on" appeasement "(long ago taken" on the pencil "by their Polish curators!), Bandera bandits on the" de-copied "territory of Zapukria!

The Poles need tanks to "de-occupy" Western Belarus, although there are enough "ideological patriots" of their own: "zmagars" and "neolitvinists" with "Pole cards" who dream of moving "to Europe" as soon as possible, also "with their own station"!
The European puppet of Washington-Poland, rattling weapons directly at the Belarusian borders, is waiting for the Belarusian "Father" and his entourage, in their (more and more openly manifested!) West Holuiskian "multi-vector" nature, will finally "lose their edges" and disagree ... Russia (thereby finally collapsing the largely subsidized and foreign credit dependent "economy" of the Republic of Belarus and, with it, the remnants of the dissatisfied "tolerance" of the majority of fellow citizens towards the increasingly hopelessly destitute "stable Lukashism"!), So that, under anti-Russian "guarantees "The USA and NATO, take advantage of this emerging" weakness "of the Belarusian" top "and" restore the trampled historical justice "as the Poles" understand "it for themselves! IMHO

I have been asking myself this question since 2012, there was not yet Maidan, not Crimea, not Donbass, but they already wanted to have a tank armada, and then they had an OVERWEKING advantage in tanks in this sector of the theater of operations, over any neighboring power. Think about it, didn’t they already start preparing to "repel Russian aggression"?

These standards are for those who want to join NATO, but they are not taken because of a mental illness. The main thing is to buy old trash from white people. The rest of NATO are able to count money, though this does not apply to Latvians.

At the factory, the barrel channels are preserved with varnish, loaded into wagons, and after assembly of the tank they are checked with a hydraulic shot. Then brush and lubricate. The Polish alteration of the T72 under the AZ Leclerc, it’ll cost more than the tank itself, something I doubt, the game is not worth the candle! I think it’s easier to buy Leo. belay

This gift will not provide the slightest opportunity to strengthen the military power of Serbia. According to him, this model is identical to the Yugoslav type T-74 [probably, it meant the M-84 - a modernized version of the T-72M]. At the same time, the Russians began to produce new vehicles, which were shown at their military parade [most likely, the T-14], “but they don’t donate them and old, used tanks come to Serbia,” which have no effect on the balance of power with Croatia

Rather, Galicia to return to their native harbor. And against the APU T-72 there is quite an argument for ensuring the self-determination of the Galician people.
It seems to me that any Vinitsa, Zhytomyr and other non-Western ones will be declared Muscovites or, just like that, Bandera will kick from their border at kicks, so as not to interfere with them moving to Europe. Then the Poles on the tanks will be just right.

The remaining ones will save 404 if the overseas owner decides to set the ukronatsiks in the Donbass.

The depth of modernization is not entirely clear. Sights, communications - this is not modernization, but something for granted because the yard is the 20s of the XNUMXst century.
Another thing is interesting - replacements or alterations in the power plant, reservation, weapons. How about this? It seems to me that replacing ammunition from Leopard is not feasible due to fundamental differences.

If you remove the automatic infection and make styling, like the T-62, then it is possible.

Then you need a Negro-loader, and there’s very little space there

          Just like in the T-62.
Four people. One of them was charging. And they were definitely not blacks.

Such "just throw out the AZ and put the African Pole loader" in the T-72 is problematic. Your references to the T-62 are not correct. The T-62 was originally designed without AZ, a different layout and dimensions.
With this approach, you can redo the train in the engine.

Carousel AZ itself takes up a lot of space. Commander and shooter
literally sit on charges in cardboard shells, surrounded by shells.
Very dangerous. Any debris of the cum jet causes detonation.
In the T-62, shells were compactly fixed along the edges at the bottom of the hull.
              Detonated less often.
And a place was formed for the "afro-loader" (as you call him).

Any debris of the cum jet in the enclosed volume of the tank is very, very bad. Plus, the AZ is located at the very bottom, and equipping non-mechanized styling with a database is, so to speak, not the best solution.
