Chinese military experts commented on Turkey’s decision to ignore US threats related to the purchase and deployment of C-400 anti-aircraft missile systems. In the Chinese edition of Sohu, using a saying, they note that Ankara, by testing the C-400 air defense radars on the F-16 and F-4 fighters (quote), "pulled the American tiger's mustache."
The publication appreciated the determination of the Turkish authorities, noting that they are few of the authorities of NATO countries that are not afraid to speak openly about protecting their national interests to US military and officials.
From the material:
The United States has repeatedly warned of the consequences, they constantly threatened. But the Turkish leader challenged the Americans.
It is alleged that Turkey decided to test the S-400 radars, which (the tests) were "even much more complicated than Russia had proposed." The material says that S-400 radars were also tested in a helicopter. With this means aviation tried to use the capabilities of electronic interference against the S-400, but to no avail.
From the article:
This suggests that Turkey is determined. And after the refusal of the Americans to deliver them the F-35, such determination becomes even more tangible.
It goes on to say that the biggest challenge for Turkey could be an attempt to integrate the Russian Tri-S-400 air defense systems into a single NATO air defense system - "in the United States, new attempts can be made to counter this."
