The latest corvette of the 20380 project “Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov” was removed from the transport dock “Zeya” and moved to the outbuilding pier for the final stage of technical work. This was reported by the press service of the Eastern Military District.
According to the report, the corvette was successfully launched from the transport dock, where it was from September 12 and transferred to the outbuilding pier, where work will be completed on the completion of the ship and its preparation for mooring trials. In particular, an integrated tower-mast structure with all relying systems will be mounted on the ship, the final installation of the shaft line, main and auxiliary diesels with subsequent launches of the mechanisms will continue.
According to the plans of shipbuilders, in June next year, the corvette will be transferred to the delivery base in the Primorsky Territory for final completion, completion of mooring lines and the beginning of sea trials of the ship. The commissioning of the ship in the Russian Navy is scheduled for 2020, it will replenish the Pacific fleet Russia.
The multipurpose patrol ship (corvette) of the 20380 project “Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov” is the third in the series and the second serial corvette being built at the Amur Shipyard. It was laid on July 22 of 2015 of the year, the building construction was completed on September 12 of 2019 of the year, the ship was taken out of the workshop and put into the transport and launch dock.
Earlier, the Amur Shipyard transferred to the Pacific Fleet the head corvette of the Perfect series (20 of July 2017 of the year) and the first production corvette of Loud (25 of December 2018 of the year). Purpose - operations in the near sea zone and combat against enemy surface ships and submarines, as well as for artillery support of the naval landing force during naval landing operations by launching missile and artillery strikes against ships and vessels at sea and bases, and patrolling the area of responsibility for the purpose of blockading.
