Turkish army will adopt Altay MBT no later than 2021

In the spring of this year, the developers of the development company announced a series of tests of a tank model with enhanced mine protection. As shown by the military operations of the Turkish troops against the Kurds, the main losses of heavy armored vehicles occurred due to mine explosions. It is noted that the anti-mine protection on XBT "Altai" in the end will outperform the protection of the German Leopard-2.
