Vietnam is a member of the "rocket club": launched its own military missile

If necessary, it is enough to simply acquire the missing equipment on the world market, however, its production on its own is a completely different matter. This also applies to missiles, the creation technologies of which are owned by only a few countries, such as India, China, Russia, the USA, “at least for the moment,” writes VietDefense.

Vietnam is a member of the "rocket club": launched its own military missile

As indicated, during the 2012-2015 years, a group of scientists from the Military Technical Academy, the Academy of Sciences and Technologies, the Aerospace Association of Vietnam and the National Satellite Center was engaged in the framework of the VT / TLĐ / 14-15 project, which aimed to develop its own launch vehicle . This led to a test run of the prototype three-stage prototype, designated the TV-01. He reached a height of 4000 meters.

As officially stated, the ultimate goal of this program was to create a small satellite launch facility designed to monitor the Earth's surface and support telecommunications.

But, like any project involving the military, it seems that there was another goal

- notes the designated edition.

11 October local television showed footage of a rocket launch, which is designed to solve combat missions. At the same time, it was stated that it refers to the modification of TV-02. This allows us to talk about Vietnam joining the so-called "missile club" - a list of countries creating their own missile weapons.

Aerospace technology is a relatively new area in Vietnam and is mastered based on the recommendations of various research institutes around the world.

- explains VietDefense.

Well done, well done, but where did the technology come from? From Russia (USSR) or from the States? This is also the technology of rocket fuel, engines. Soon you will need calculations for serious flights ...

For a country which, as was thought, yesterday there was no nifig at all, and then right away ... and a three-stage, and trial ball, 4 thousand meters.

Higher qualification specialists should have remained on the same Kukuev side. They are also not so scrupulous, in the sense of prohibiting the spread of rocket technology.

The Vietnamese are serious fighters, I think nothing has changed in this regard over the past 50 years. Therefore, we need to seriously return to them and return positions, at least Cam Ranh in addition to Tartus would seem to many ... let's say much more than just an inconvenience. Well, with the S-400 and "Armor", of course, there would be no airfield, "Caliber", "Ball" and so on.

The non-proliferation regime includes 35 states and at least a dozen more have such weapons, but are not included in the treaty.

This rocket club is already half a planet.
But it is not clear what is there to enjoy. Missiles are weapons for the poor.
Whoever is unable to create or maintain military aviation directs
their effort in creating rockets. And offended by a neighbor or even
a country a thousand km from the borders, each dictator with one crinkle and big ego will
launch into the offender a ballistic missile with half tons of explosives.

      Is Russia weaker than yours?
And why spend $ 1000 to destroy conventional 10 objects when you can spend 100, and the result is the same? Something your logic is lame. Or resentment says?
Or do you propose to organize "knightly tournaments"? Plane versus plane, destroyer versus destroyer, tank versus tank? By the way, for a tank against a tank, why not for tank biathlon?

A rocket is a disposable weapon. But cheaper
        in the creation and content.
Aircraft - reusable weapons. But as expensive as
        in production and in service.
No third, secret meanings in these theses
no. Each country chooses how many missiles to hold,
and how many planes, depending on their capabilities
        and tasks.
(I was not considering nuclear, but conventional weapons).

Not just early, but very early. Then it is necessary to talk about joining the rocket club and Hezbollah with their Kasams.
What the Vietnamese did is not even the first step. This is an attempt at the first step. And they still have a very long way to go. To start, create a school, including and on engines. And for starters, at least liquid, since solid fuel is still more complicated ...
