On the territory of Severodvinsk, three employees of the American embassy were detained, who did not have documents to be in sensitive territory. It is reported by Interfax with reference to an informed source.
Three employees of the American Embassy, namely the Naval Attaché at the Embassy of the United States of America, Captain First Rank Whitsitt William Curtis, Attaché at the US Embassy Arriola Jerry Anthony and Military Attaché at the US Embassy Colonel D.S. Dunn, were removed from the train "Nyonoksa - Severodvinsk" in connection with the entry into the territory without permissive documents.
According to the source, the incident occurred on Monday, October 14 at Severodvinsk station while checking documents. They were removed from the train and after drawing up the relevant documents on an administrative offense, they were released.
In turn, the Ren-TV channel reports that three employees of the US embassy were detained in the city of Severodvinsk, which is a city with regulated visits for foreigners, because they "did not provide the documents necessary for staying in this city." In relation to them, administrative materials were compiled under paragraph 1.1 Art. 18.8 Administrative Code, providing for a fine and administrative expulsion from the Russian Federation.
Recall that in early August at the Nyonoks training ground, a rocket engine exploded, resulting in human casualties.
