What is behind the speeches of the radicals against Zelensky

35
The confrontation in Ukraine between the Zelensky team and the radicals is increasing every day. The trigger for the active phase of the confrontation was the signing of the Steinmeier formula. The war party, represented by "gunboats" and radicals, had long been waiting for a reason to attack Zelensky, took advantage of this.

It should be noted that the signing of the “formula” did not essentially change anything, the “formula” only determined the order of implementation of the Minsk agreements and the procedure for holding elections in the Donbass, while the wishes of the radicals about holding elections after the transfer of control of the border to Ukraine were not taken into account.

The reasons for the confrontation

In the confrontation, two points of view clashed on resolving the conflict: the radicals insisted on continuing the war to a victorious end, and the Zelensky team, under pressure from the West, was trying to play a peaceful version of the implementation of the agreements.

Opposing parties have different support, Zelensky enjoys the support of the overwhelming majority of the population, who long for a peaceful resolution of the conflict in the Donbas, and the support of the West, which at the given stage is interested in the cessation of hostilities out of its geopolitical interests.

"Gunpowders" and radicals with their military hysteria completely discredited themselves under the previous regime and almost now have no support in society, but they "keep the street" using active members of radical organizations. They are able to bring thousands of ideological and paid supporters to provocative rallies, which the police do not touch upon the command of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and often take under their protection.

There is no support for security officials

Naturally, the question arises: why does the new government condone the radicals and do not take the measures prescribed by law for them? The whole trouble of Zelensky is that from the moment he came to power, he did not create a power block loyal to himself. Today he has no one to rely on, in the SBU there have been changes only at the very top, without affecting the managerial vertical, moreover, this special service is not intended to suppress street riots.

The army is in the same situation, only the leadership of the Ministry of Defense has been replaced by people from the old guard who fought in the Donbass and defend the continuation of the war. The cessation of hostilities in the army is not popular, Zelensky in the army is not the authority for which she is ready to stand up a mountain.

The most deplorable situation is for Zelensky with the most powerful power structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including the national guard, border troops, police and the Ministry of Emergencies with a total number of more than 200 thousand people. This structure is subordinate to Avakov, the initiator and organizer of the outbreak of war in the Donbass, the only person from the old team who remained in the structure of the new government. Avakov is not just a member of the team of the previous regime, he is one of the ideologists and leaders in the process of the formation of the Nazi regime in Ukraine and has never hidden his views. In addition, Avakov has a very serious influence on the radicals of Biletsky and on the initiative of Avakov in the structure of the National Guard under the fascist symbols was formed the regiment "Azov".

Zelensky made concessions to Kolomoisky and introduced into his team a serious opponent in the person of Avakov, who has a serious power resource and who for many reasons will look for a convenient excuse to speak out against Zelensky.

In the power structures Zelensky has no one to rely on, he understands that the security forces will be ready to betray and oppose him at any time. Today, he pays for his short-sighted policy of organizing a vertical line of command in the power structures, without the support of which he could very quickly lose power.

Is Maidan possible?

An explosive mixture of "gunboats" and radicals, with the connivance of law enforcement agencies, could constitute a serious threat to the Zelensky regime. Now there is a test of strength and intimidation of Zelensky. The first rallies and protests in different cities showed that the radicals did not have much power, only a few thousand supporters took to the streets, the bulk of the population ignored the actions of the radicals.

Zelensky came to power on the slogans of peace in the Donbas, and the vast majority of the population expects him to take concrete actions in this direction. It would seem that, using such massive support, he can calmly promote the idea of ending the war, without particularly looking at the actions of the radicals. But his supporters are a passive majority, unable to defend their interests and resist the radicals. In this regard, Zelensky has no one to rely on, he has no support from the security forces and the active part of society, and he is practically defenseless against them.

The radicals intimidate Zelensky with a new Maidan, disagreeing with his policy aimed, as it were, at the implementation of the Minsk agreements, which theoretically can lead to peace. Moreover, the possibility of implementing such a scenario is negligible, since the Maidan can take place only if certain conditions are met.

This requires a request for Maidan inside and outside Ukraine, since it is not a subject of international relations, but an object under the complete control of the West. Ukrainian society wants peace and in the elections clearly demonstrated this by refusing trust in the Poroshenko regime. Radicals with their hysterical calls for war are supported only by a small part of the population, concentrated mainly in Galicia, in other regions this is the lot of marginal groups. The radicals now have no social support in society, their ideas are not in demand and are not popular. In the elections, all together they were able to collect only about 2% of the vote, and that’s it. The oligarchy is also not yet interested in the overthrow of the Zelensky regime, the main enemy of the Kolomoisky oligarchs, and they are trying to organize a united front against it.

Without the support of the West, no Maidan is impossible; in 2004 and 2014, the West supported the radicals, as it was beneficial to him. Now the West, in its geopolitical interests, is interested in ending the conflict in the Donbas and is pushing Zelensky, brought with them to power, to implement the Minsk agreements, which is quite convenient for them and the West is clearly not going to overthrow it.

All this suggests that inside and outside Ukraine there is no customer for the Maidan and the coup, so the actions of the "gunboats" and radicals are doomed to failure. Even if they make a coup, its legitimacy will not be recognized within Ukraine and the West, and they will find themselves in isolation with all the ensuing consequences.

The organizers and puppeteers of street protests perfectly understand this, their main task is to put pressure on Zelensky to tighten the negotiating position in discussing the implementation plan of the Minsk agreements. They also want to force Zelensky to bend under their demands to aggravate relations with Russia.

Kolomoisky and Avakov are waiting and have not yet made any statements. They all understand perfectly: at this stage it is beneficial for them to intimidate Zelensky so that he becomes more manageable and accommodating. To oppose the position of the West supporting Zelensky is unprofitable and dangerous for them, and they will act only within the permissible corridor. On the one hand, they set the radicals against the demands of “stopping the surrender of Ukraine to Putin” and abandon the “Steinmeier formula”, and on the other hand, restrain them from decisive action in relation to the Zelensky regime, whose existence the West is still interested in.

War party

If you look at the "party of war", then it is represented not by those people on whom you must bet and who can win. Poroshenko is no longer needed by anyone, the Americans put him into circulation, he is a wagered card. Among the radicals, Biletsky is trying to rise on a protest wave, he acts as a “Fuhrer” from the plow, hoping to become the leader of a powerful protest movement. He never enjoyed authority among politicians and businessmen and, despised by a significant part of the population, is trying to show his significance, traditionally relying on scumbags and football fans, as he is incapable of more.

The radicals, having seriously strained themselves, can bring only about 15 of their ideological and paid supporters from all over Ukraine and create the appearance of mass protests, but they will not be able to win, because nobody needs them.

Biletsky, using Avakov’s patronage and impunity for his provocative actions, is trying to blackmail the power with his militants and puts ultimatums to her. All this will continue until he goes beyond what is permitted. The siloviki, at the command of the same Avakov, will quickly find a council on him, and he will end up in prison, where he sat before the coup.

They have not yet been touched, because for the Russophobic Zelensky regime, radicals are largely needed as a consumable to create the appearance that the "masses" are resisting the end of the war, and he needs concessions from the West and Russia to calm them down.

With the West’s submission, a political swing has been established in Ukraine, on which one side is as if seeking peace, while the other does not allow it to be done. Moreover, none of them can win, and this process is controlled by Western curators in the right direction, where all the dividends go to the West.

Zelensky now feels confident and is not very concerned about the street protests of the radicals. They know the price, their actions pose no serious danger to the ruling regime, since they act at the same time. Once again, a Russophobic card is played out in Ukraine with the involvement of moderate and radical Russophobes, who are faced with the task of tearing Ukraine away from Russia by all possible means and creating reasons for putting pressure on it.

Great analytical article! I agree with every word of the author.

I also previously drew attention to what Zelensky left in the government of Avakov, and was even somewhat surprised by this. For Avakov himself is a powerful political figure who can become an alternative center of power to the president. Agreements and "Reshalovo" will begin again.

It was clear that leaving Avakov in power in the new Ukrainian government was a power compromise for Zelensky with Kolomoisky himself.

Avakov is an ally of Kolomoisky. It is he who steers both the Ministry of Internal Affairs and death squads in the form of some subordinate groups. Benya sponsored many good dealers, and Avakov gave them official crusts and weapons.
Therefore, it strongly seems to me that this Maidan is just a spectacle. No, gunboats are quite sincere. But I don’t strongly believe that Biletsky went against Avakov and Kolomoisky. He began to poison Petya only when it became clear that he would not win the election. Biletsky is very careful and does not climb into trouble.
Zelensko-Kolomoisky needs to disrupt Minsk, but so that it has nothing to do with it. Like - "you see, I want, but do not give." Evil natsiks do not allow Minsk and so on. If he simply abandons Minsk, he will get it in the neck from the West and lose the support of voters in the South-East. And so it seems like it's not my fault.
According to what was said at the marathon, it turns out that they are planning another option. Separate the republic by blockade and cut off from Ukraine. No status and constitutional changes - just cut off a limb that has fallen into the trap. And that means a new Transnistria will emerge from which there will be two exits. Or a new round of war, or nevertheless the accession of these bits to the Russian Federation.

They are unlikely to be cut off. Remember me that even before the events of 2014 in the West, Ukraine was already divided. America, Ukrainian shale gas, Germany, Ukrainian coal. In particular, Germany claimed to "privatize" coal mining in Donbass.

On coal. Germany itself has large reserves of coal and can increase its production. That's just the green squeezed the rejection of not only nuclear power plants, but also the gradual closure of coal power plants. So soon Germany will have nowhere to put its coal.
For the same Americans, by the way, it is more profitable to completely and completely destroy the coal industry of Ukraine and the republics. For a simple reason. Everyone has heard American LNG, but these are crumbs and private companies. But the US state itself has adopted a state program for the development of clean coal-fired power plants operating on American grades of coal. The scheme was copied from ROSATOM. Americans are going to build their coal-fired power plants around the world with the conclusion of contracts for the supply of coal for them for 50 years. That is, it is more profitable for them to destroy Ukrainian coal mining as a competitor.

And I heard that in the United States, American coal is of poorer quality than from Russia - with less heat transfer than Russian.
And will they still buy American, not Russian? And why?

Because the basis is precisely in the development of thermal power plants that will be environmentally friendly and work only on American grades of coal. This is the essence of the program. Coal is cheap, there is still a lot of it, and if there is no smog, as over China, it will become even more popular. After development, the Americans will supply comprehensive contracts. Build your coal-fired thermal power plants, including how we nuclear power plants - on credit. And they will immediately conclude contracts for deliveries of American coal to these thermal power plants for 50 years. I repeat, if gas programs are programs of private companies, then the program of clean thermal power plants is an American state program. hi

And yet Vitaly, in fairness, we must admit that there are two gas fields there - one in the Luhansk region, the other in Ivano-Frankivsk, but there are no gas volumes "attractive" for the Americans, therefore, having drilled several dozen wells there, the companies that carried out these works Shell and Chevron departed. In view of the beginning of second-hand actions, they even abandoned their equipment in the Luhansk region. Biden's son and dad, they wanted to take Ukrainian gas to their little hands, but it didn't grow together, so Tatiana is right here, the capitalists were drooling

It seems that this confusion will not be long. Now we have to wait until the end of the year the gas card will play with the absence of a contract for gas transit through Ukraine and the commissioning of Nord Stream 2, which will largely zero out the importance of Ukraine for its overseas curators in terms of pressure on Russia and Europe. It is stupid to contain this territory, for the sake of maintaining the conflict in Donbas without the prospect of recouping investments and solving the problem of ousting Russia from the EU gas market and replacing its gas with American shale will become counterproductive and simply unprofitable. Control over the Ukrainian gas transportation system without filling it with Russian gas loses all meaning, and the existing gas fields, even if they are developed, will be able to cover only internal needs. With the loss of Russian transit money, for overseas troublemakers, the costs of keeping puppies will also increase. It was not possible to pocket Crimea, organizing a full-scale war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine with the involvement of European countries in this process also did not work out, the babos are mostly deflated, and the presence of bonded debt will allow creditors and the IMF to sell off the remaining assets and black soil to pay it off. With the loss of external interest, the relatively "healthy forces" will have the opportunity to suppress the stubborn radicals in order to try to keep the state within the existing borders, otherwise further disintegration is inevitable.

No, not long. 5 years. And then he will say "we did not have time."
If people in power want to do something, they do it. Remember 1989. CPP. Count Dracula theirs and his wife were arrested in four days (Karl, four!). tried. shot. And the Securitate was on the side of Ceaucesco. And she was incomparably more powerful than the "patriots" from the right sector.
Think, 1989. The USSR did not disintegrate. The USSR is still strong. Even in the west, it was believed that the country would reach 2000. In the memory of Iliescu and other front of national salvation, the operation "Storm 333", arranged for the killed Taraki (and then, killed carefully, "from a long illness," one might say), is still fresh in the memory. And then a demonstrative execution with his wife!
They could not have foreseen how the Securitate would react, how the USSR would react ... and the reaction could be very mixed. And yet...
Zelensky has been in power for 6 months. 6 months is a lot. When they give me tasks at work, they give me a week, two or three, and then they ask the result. Or they ask "what did you do?" Nobody will allow me to feed my superiors with promises and breakfasts for too long ...

Yuri, Mova doesn't play a special role here. Proof of this is the following fact. On the Maidan and later, in the volunteer battalions, there were many representatives of the Russian-speaking population from Central and Eastern Ukraine. The most important thing is the views of the person. If everything is in order with his head and conscience, then no matter what language he speaks, he will still be a normal person. And if instead of brains margarine, and conscience for such a chimera, then let him be three times "his" on the basis of language - in fact it is a werewolf. Do you agree?

“It is generally accepted that the West of Ukraine is against Russia, and the East is for us. But even in the eastern regions back in the Soviet years, a considerable part of the Ukrainian intelligentsia bitterly spoke about the fate of their people and blamed the Russian authorities.

“With what satanic power Ukraine was destroyed! - wrote the classic of modern Ukrainian literature Oles Terentyevich Gonchar. - According to the tragedy of fate, we are a unique people. The greatest geniuses of the nation - Shevchenko, Gogol, Skovoroda - have been homeless all their lives. But Stalinism surpassed everything with its horrors and state sadism. Genocide destroyed the most active, most talented forces of the people. What sins did such a share fall to us? ”
The potter is not a dissident. Favorite of the Soviet regime: Hero of Socialist Labor, laureate of two Stalinist, state and Leninist prizes. And now, it turns out that he was thinking about the fate of his native Ukraine. ”

Oles Gonchar is not only a writer, but also a front-line soldier, an order bearer. He volunteered to fight in the early fall of the 1941 year, as a student at Kharkov University. Then, to protect Kharkov, student battalions (student battalions) were hastily created, which were almost completely killed in battles. Near Kharkov University, a monument was erected to the students of Batbat. Potter was lucky to stay alive, he fought until the Victory. He changed his views on the USSR during perestroika and the subsequent independence of Ukraine. And the impetus for this decision was the activity of Gorbachev and his henchmen, who, in particular, hid from the Ukrainian population information about the tragedy at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. The explosion occurred at the dawn of 26 on April 1986, and was reported only in the first decade of May. All this time, people were in mortal danger, not even suspecting it. The same thing happened with Afghanistan, when the truth about the war was hidden from the population, and it was forbidden to talk about losses in general. The potter, who had gone through the entire Great Patriotic War, was indignant towards the warriors-Afghans to the core. Therefore, his views on the anti-people’s activities of the ruling elite were transformed throughout the entire Soviet period of history. It is bitter to realize, but O. T. Gonchar had the right to such an opinion. He could fight that power only with the help of a word, which he did until the end of his life.

Hello Oleg! Nice to meet a fellow countryman. A small replica to your comment. The potter was not silent under Khrushchev. In 1960, his novel "Tronka" was published. In Tronka, for the first time in Ukrainian literature, the writer raised the problem of eradicating Stalinism, the struggle between the old and the new. Yes, then it was fashionable to criticize Stalin, but Gonchar did not stoop to indiscriminate criticism, but showed the negative aspects of this phenomenon, primarily the opportunism of party officials. And in the novel "Cathedral" (1968), he began to criticize the party elite more harshly, in particular, the leadership of the Dnepropetrovsk region. Another thing is that not everything could be said openly. And a complete picture of the historical past for him emerged precisely in the late USSR. In any case, this is my opinion.

The idea as a whole is correct, only for its implementation it is necessary for the government to have a power resource. The problem is that Zelensky has no such resource yet. Avakov is too independent a player who, under Poroshenko, did not bow to anyone, and now even more so. During the 2014-2019 years, a thorough purge took place in the SBU and in the army, there remained only officers from Western Ukraine who were ideologically motivated to continue the war. All who did not share this line of the party have long been fired. So it is hard to believe that Ze will have a power resource in the foreseeable future.

Until Ze decides to take drastic measures, all this will smolder and smolder. Well, the militants of Azov and the Right Sector are not averse to threatening his relatives. Ale! Kolomoisky! Agree already with Avakov either for money or for immunity.

"Zelensky made concessions to Kolomoisky and brought in a serious opponent in the person of Avakov into his team," i.e. Zelensky confirmed. that he is the same puppet in the hands of the oligarchs, like Avakov and other Nazis.

    Not bad (compared to Kamenev)
however, the author at the same time speaks of weakness and cunning, of the lack of a plan — and the implementation of the plan.
    About the "dissatisfied".
THEY were ALWAYS. Under Poroshenko, how many "radicals" and nationalists were there in Kiev? Almost always.
What has changed for the Best Choice? No, the respected partner did not even explain anything to the population. Well, there are "agents of the Kremlin" or whoever else is there .. well, let them. Democracy.
Why should Zelensky strain too because of the demonstration?
He was not chosen / set for this. The crowd in Kiev has never been a driving force, without outside support for specific people.
Of course, nationalists are always trying to saddle their favorite horse - the Defense of Ukraine. But no one forgot that it was their actions that led to the split. And of course in the war they are also cannon fodder (and those who are smarter and not at the front are street flesh).
In order for the driving force to become more active, we need a bet on young people, and she chose Zelensky.
And to shake the situation where the choice of young people = there is "zrada" is not very good.
Here it would have been trickier. Or wait in the classical sense (allow stupid mistakes to be made) and gain strength.
But nationalists never wait. That is why our union of traders and nationalists has led to a split.
Therefore, you need to try a bunch of traders and pragmatists.

The confrontation in Ukraine between the Zelensky team and the radicals is increasing every day.
With all due respect to the author, who himself was a participant in earlier events in Ukraine, but he missed one word here in the text, only one, but that explains everything, that’s. The test should read like this:
"Confrontation Visibility in Ukraine between the Zelensky team and the radicals is getting stronger every day. "
All this is a "game" of "one team"

Are Shaw and the "commanding chairs" already over in Ukraine? There is nowhere to plant?

Unfortunately, this article is not about analytics and the author does not even understand what is happening in Ukraine.
Last weekend, over 25 thousand people gathered in Kiev at the end of the announced campaign. In other cities less but also from 1 thousand.
So opus about the fact that it’s difficult to bring to Kiev 15 thousand, even reluctance to comment
Maidans in Ukraine are formed not by payment and requests of oligarchs or the West. One prokhvessor also thought now thinks beyond the Moscow Ring Road.
Biletsky is Avakov’s creature and they went to Zolotoy knowing that no one would shoot at them. In short, Avakov showed Bene and Zele xy from xy.
An attempt to extend Stanmeier to Zelensky will end sadly. It will be the first not a runaway but a sedentary president.
With the release of 100 thousand in Kiev there is no problem. The office will push people in response.
